The waitress was doing all that she could to make it a fine dining experience on Sunday. Whomever was cooking the food needs to... be retrained. The old folks taught us to place love in what you cook. Too many are in such a hurry that the food comes out andthere's no love in what is being served. Will not be returning!???????????? Read more
The place was clean and the employees were nice. ¾ of the menu is fried though! Very strange. The sweet tea was amazing! EDIT:... I originally gave 3 stars but changed it to 5. I gave it 3 stars because the menu didn't have a lot on it I would eat but that'snot their fault. What I did order (and everyone else at my table) was really good! Read more
Always a great place to eat. I have been eating at Carey Hilliards since 1999 from Charleston SC now throughout the Savannah Ga... area. The food has always been plentiful. I always get the Captains platter bcuz I am a seafood lover and yesterday I got thegrilled salmon with 2 sides. Only if Carey Hilliards can come to Atlanta:):(. Quick pickup. Went inside to pick up the food to make sure our order was correct. I only use their curb service if i want to eat... outside. The only problem I had was there was an extra charge that I didn't notice on the receipt till I had already paid for itfor1.99. And when I asked she said it was for the coleslaw. And I said when I ordered the sandwich I thought it came with twosides she said no it only comes with one. I told her they should tell you when you order that it only comes with one side. ButI paid the $1. 99 for it no problem. *After opening the coleslaw was VERY SMALL in a bowl probably about 2-3 teaspoons. And Iwas given no ketchup for fries and no tartar sauce for the hush puppies. I guess I was supposed to ask for them I did ask forthe honey mustard. Read more
The food was very good and our server was very nice and friendly. I ordered the small pulled pork plate with green beans and... slaw. I was dining with 3 other gentlemen, and they had all finished their meals before my green beans were ever brought to thetable. I finally ate the green beans and had finished them entirely before my pulled pork and slaw ever made it to the table.I'm not sure why that part of the service was so slow. Read more
