Reviews for Big Bon Bodega/Big Bon Pizza in Savannah, GA
We had Kay and her great team at Big Bon Pizza cater our neighborhood party this fall. Live music, great food, great friends and... great weather! The party wouldn?t have been a success without Big Bon! Thank you for everything! Read more
If you're looking for a fantastically cooked pizza, look no further. Even better, if you want bagels in the morning, they do... that too! Genius idea to have the same establishment serve breakfast bagels and later in the day dinner pizza. All of it wassuper tasty, we came back twice in the same weekend - for pizza one night, bagels and coffee the next morning. You can tell theycook things in a fire oven, there's just no replicating that. Great texture, flavors, and decent variety. The bagels were justas good, and the coffee was also good. Morning or night, definitely check this place out. Read more

What could be better than a fresh made wood fired bagel?! (Well?. Maybe their pizza, but I was there for breakfast!). Cool... vibe, open kitchen where you can watch the wood fired oven and the staff work their magic. And the bagels are fantastic. I wasfortunate to catch the special one day.. an herbs de Provence flavored gem. It?s not a regular on the menu, but it was probablythe best bagel I?ve ever eaten. Bagel sandwiches are an awesome way to start your day! Read more
Bagels made fresh daily! We went every morning of our stay in Savannah. Coffee, Thai tea, cold brew was all delicious! All the... cream cheese flavors were delicious (especially scallion & herb). Salt & pepper bagel was amazing! And don?t forget to try theirchocolate chips cookies (baked fresh daily as well) Read more
Big Bon Bodega has been one of our favorite spots in Savannah since we moved here? and apparently others agree because typically... when we visit we have to wait for a picnic table spot to open up. We always add the Thai tea & a cookie & highly recommend thesalt & pepper bagel. Exactly which sandwich to go with? we change our order up every single time and typically go with thespecial for the day. The service is always friendly & consistent. If you haven?t been - the format is you enter (door on theleft) to wait in line & order then you receive a text once your order is ready to pick up at the counter (which is easilyaccessed though the door closer to the garage doors on the right). Also! They now are working with a chef who reopens later inthe day on Wednesday through Saturday for takeout pizza options. Also very #wheelchair #accessible with easy to open doors. Read more
Very tasty sandwich and the bagel itself was super good! I got the pimento pig and the cheese on it went really well with... everything else. I got an everything bagel as the sandwich bread and the bagel tasted amazing! Chewy on the inside and theperfect amount of crispness on the outside. I went in the morning around 7:40 and there were already some people there. The ladywho took my order was very nice and the aesthetic of the place was nice. There was also outdoor seating. Definitely going backhere to eat just the bagel by itself, so good! Read more
My friend and I arrived early Saturday morning and there was no line! I had the 912 sandwich (egg/cheese/bacon/herb butter) on a... plane bagel. The sandwich overall was very good, but I probably wouldn?t pay $9 for one again. It seemed pretty small, and theegg was like super over hard (which is just more of a preference thing). I was hoping the herb butter would add to the overallsandwich but I could barely notice any extra flavor from the butter. I would recommend getting an everything bagel to add some?seasoning.? I also got a brown butter cookie to try which was pretty darn good! They have a bunch of seating outside and seempet friendly. Read more
