Wow! We have been coming to Savannah for *years* and have attempted to make reservations at 45 Bistro many times. Due to... conflicts, we have been unsuccessful. But, tonight we were there and it was worth the wait!!! Danny offered superb service (twothumbs up) and the food was absolutely outstanding. The duck was unexpected...even with the roasted beets. I am not a fan ofthat vegetable, but I have changed my mind. The rack of lamb was also outstanding and will be a favorite the next time as well!!Don't miss your chance to make reservations when you are in town. I've been to 45 Bistro a few times now (an advantage of being local) and they have perfectly delivered on taste,... professionalism, and environment every time. I'm convinced their food is among the very best that the city has to offer. Ihighly recommend the Tuna Tostada as an app and while every entree I've tried had been amazing, their chicken with a mushroomrisotto is my favorite. The hostess, Paula, is wonderful! I have dined at 45 Bistro several times while in town for work. This visit I brought my family. We enjoyed our meal however, the... hostess was extremely rude. She seemed annoyed that we asked for a different table and then I asked another question and she wasonce again ?confused? and annoyed. I have never had a bad experience at 45 Bistro so this was disappointing. Hopefully, for therestaurant she was just having a bad day. The food is delicious, great wine list and cocktails. Read more

For as expensive as this place was, I wasn't super impressed. I will say the appetizers were absolutely fabulous. I hate oysters... and I've never had escargot but I would go back for both of those dishes (oysters Rockefeller). Had the lamb for dinner and wasable to try to filet and the Riley. I thought they were underseasoned and lacking something that I can't quite put my finger on.Definitely not worth the $50 plus dollars/plate. The steak frites served with the filet were delicious! This might be the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. My girlfriend treated us for our one year anniversary celebration and... ordered the Duck Two Ways, the North Atlantic Salmon, and a bottle of pinot noir and everything was amazing. The service andambience were excellent as well. We will be back! Read more
