Reviews for Soo Brewing Company in Sault Ste. Marie, MI
Used to love this Brewery. The old building had a big selection of craft beers , enjoyed the experience. Atmosphere was great... We went to the new place only 4 beers on tap, no beer to purchase to buy, etc Growlers. They seem to focus more on catering tothe wine . Drove up from southeast Michigan , very disappointed. Looks like they moved away from what made them special.Probably won?t go back , very boring now. Looked forward to coming to the UP just for them. Now I know not to go back.???? Read more
Roof top, beer, burgers and scenery with wonderful guests. Awesome time, awesome. Beer was good, I had 2 but would prefer Browne... or stout instead but it was good.. Read more
Great service from the staff. Good bar food. Limited brews on tap, but they are building up. The brews on tap are very good.
We were there on the 19th of July. Very disappointed. The girl who worked at the bar could care less if we were there or not.... She didn't have the motivation to even turn on the open sign. They had three beers on tap, and were out of the Amber. If I werethe owner, I would have a more hands on approach to my business. We've been to over 70 + breweries in Michigan, and this was byfar the most lackluster. It's always fun when the brewery takes pride in their creations, and the workers are excited to servethe customer what they believe is the best beer you've ever had. Not the case here. I realize, right now, good help is hardto come by. On the plus side, the two beers they did offer, were not too bad. I believe they were a blonde and a pale ale...ormaybe a lager. But we had both, and they were good. Worth a stop if you just want a craft beer. The other brewery in town wasclosed on Monday, so we were not able to compare the two. Read more
Great Cajun fries and good beer. Had a drink on the roof ????????
We've been regulars for several months and have loved going here - the atmosphere is great! Old wood floors, old church pews for... benches and board games and cards galor (there used to be popcorn and peanuts before corona, but there's still chips available)But more importantly the beer is consistently good, the styles are usually quite varied - and the brewer/owner who you're likelyto run into is incredibly friendly, full of stories and hopes you love the beer as much as he does and all us frequent patronsdo. Be sure to stop by on a Thursday for pint and a slice night or if games are more your speed, join some of the regulars formonday night cribbage Read more

First time here. We are local and this ould have been a regular place for us, a place to share with visiting family and friends... but the staff were completely rude and made us feel like we were an imposition. Terrible. Won't be returning. Wouldn'trecommend. food was acceptable at best. Read more
