My suggestion is that you don't go to this restaurant during the week after 8pm. From the moment my husband and I got there,... the waitress served us in a hurry, we barely managed to eat properly because she wouldn't leave the table waiting for us toleave. It was clear the rush to close the restaurant. I don't like to eat with someone close to me rushing to leave. And itwas only 9pm! I'm not going anymore. Read more

The margaritas are alway good here. The chips are hot and you can have as much as you want. We always get a side of chopped... cilantro to make the salsa more authentic. The food here has always been good. The service is excellent. We have been cominghere for over a decade. Please bring back the crawfish etouffee and the blackened chicken caesar salad. ???? Read more
This photo is from 2015. When they had a full menu. Since the whole pandemic, it?s been cut to half of the items available. We... used to visit constantly and now it?s been months. They even cut from the menu their amazing corn bread. How is corn in foodshortage? This is the only restaurant that implemented a limited menu and never brought the whole menu back. A super fun and easy dinner at Border Cafe! Lots of gluten free options ( please see edit) The food tasted yummy. Sam was our... waitress! Such a nice girl! I dumped a huge glass of water right when we started our dinner. Sam made me feel it was oklol. Lots of parking available. I highly recommend this place if you don?t care about eating gluten. I am writing this on behalf of my parents who recently visited this location. The food was great! Chips weren't too salty or... too greasy. The salsa was decent (coming from a Mexican, who makes this by hand often, that's a big compliment). The portionswere very good. Their SOFT DRINKS! They were huge and had infinite refills; fantastic! The customer service was prompt,courteous and attentive. Their waitress (can't remember her name), she was excellent! Definitely will be recommending thisestablishment, and will be returning very soon. The only negative thing to say at all, and this is being nit-picky, therestaurant was very dark on the inside, poor lighting. PS - The decor was fine, until we saw the Christmas lights still up.They need to come down. Read more
I know that they don't take reservations but if I'm going to walk in with a party of 20 from my 50th birthday party and be told... we're sorry we can accommodate you for 2 hours or they just can't accommodate me. I'm going to be extremely upset I am comingfar away to come back to my stomping grounds to celebrate at a restaurant I used to love. Well since October I have been toldthey'll get back to you or they're in meetings no one has gotten back to me. Jillian or Chris today I call in Chris says wellI'm really sorry I've had some family medical is. I personally am sorry that he has family medical issues going on but I didn'tneed to know that that's why they've been blowing me off since October obviously they don't want my money or any money from the20 people that were invited. That is sad considering the fact that businesses after a 2-year pandemic should be willing toaccommodate anybody. According to them there's no corporate office so this is the only way I can get my complaint out. When Ilived in the neighborhood I used to eat there like six times maybe 10 times in a month loved their food. This however has nowput a sour taste in my mouth. This is just a sad way to run a store. But good news I did find a place up on route 1 and thatrestaurant is happy to accept my birthday party. To the folks at border Cafe I hope you thrive I really would hate you to haveto lose some business but you've lost mine and my mother's and about 25 to 30 of my friends. Read more
