This place is amazing. They use fresh, delicious ingredients. The service is top notch as well, I felt weird not leaving a tip... (this place is tipless, as they pay all employees a living wage) Check them out, just remember the prices are higher, but youdon't need to leave a tip ;) Read more
Alec & Lindsay are truly great, as is both their dining establishments. I first fell under their charms when they opened Grow.... Coming from Chicago they have what it takes to make a restaurant thrive. The food, the service, and the ambiance all marryperfectly together and only get better with age. The Trap, the newest of their two places, is like Grow, unique and well thoughtout. They are offering a menu that no one in this area is. Lindsay is a master of flavor in the kitchen and everything she putson a plate is magic. Alec has curated a wine menu specific to the Loire Valley that is unmatched and is delightful table side. We had a delightful experience at this restaurant. It is a no gratuity restaurant so they pay a living wage to their employees.... The chef brings out the meals to the table and describes them. Absolutely delicious food, serving incredibly unique dishes I haven?t seen anywhere else. Our group all had various 4-course... prix fixe combinations and everyone was impressed with their meals. Perfectly crafted and well-developed flavors carried usthrough the perfect evening. I?ve always been a bit hesitant with sardines, they were one of those things I tried as a child andhaven?t ever really managed to get a taste for.
