I ordered a steak burrito for take out. For starters, the tortilla was stone cold, as was the rest of the burrito. The... filling all came out as the filling was not wrapped in the burrito. Decided to try this ?authentic? Mexican restaurant. Salsa for the chips tasted like tomatoes from a can. I had the Texas fajita... which had absolutely no seasoning, not sure what gave the chicken the yellow color but it didn?t add to the flavor, rice wasoverly salty and mushy. We were walking about town, famished for some lunch and found this fun Mexican restaurant. The menu had a full complement of... dishes and drinks! I came to the area with 8 of my friends from Illinois for my sweet bachelorette party! It was later when we were able to check... into our place so we were hoping to find a restaurant that would let us eat out later. As a server myself, it?s not always myfavorite when customers come in moments before closing the kitchen, but the staff here were so understanding that we had been onthe road and all a little tired and hungry. We were greeted by a gentleman who kindly told welcomed us in and sat us. And ourserver was Andrea and she was so kind, had the sweetest smile, and gave us everything we needed and more. She was sure to checkon us and made great recommendations! The food was so good and it was a beautiful environment to sit outside and all enjoy somemuch needed time together. I ordered the kids popcorn chicken because I wasn?t really that hungry and they came out with chicken nuggets that were black... and rotten looking. The service was horrible and we waited 20 minuets just for them to bring out chips and to take our DRINKorder. The other food was ok but I got a horrible stomachache after I ate there. I don?t know if it was short staffed or whathappened. I understand that you shouldn?t get chicken nuggets at a Mexican restaurant but they should at least look decent.
