I had the “RED WINE BRAISED BRISKET” for $33.00. Honestly it was mostly fat and tough, with very little meat, I assume I got... the last salvaged bits. The carrots, and potatoes that it was served with were very good. I was out with a larger group ofpeople and the server seemed to be inconvenienced with us, I felt uncomfortable asking her about my meal. We also ordered thepretzel, fried sour dough and smoked wings to start. Although they tasted okay at best, I felt the meal was over priced. Thefish and chips looked amazing and I have had the burgers here before, they also have been good. Stick with the pub food and youshould be good. Also the pork belly comes highly recommended. Really delicious food and a great atmosphere. Staff was friendly and beer was great. I had the Pastrami Pork chop, which was a... thing I'd never imagined before, and it was delicious. The chop was a little peppery, but flavorful and tender. The roastedveggies that came with it were equally good. Read more
I was shocked that they actually have two veggie burgers on the menu - I had the lentil one as that one was part of the burger... and pint special. It was absolutely amazing. Oh and my carnivore friends enjoyed their burgers very much as well. And one ofthem is adamant this place has the best wings in town. Love the atmosphere, the staff is just fantastic. We went to the R&R on Saturday and had an amazing time, meal, and service. The place was busy when we got there and had a group... of 6 so we decided to sit at the corner of the bar and we made it our home for the next 4 hours! The bartender that evening wasKelsie and she treated us like family. We had a sensational time and I would recommend that place to anyone. The food is localand on point, I had the Brisket and it was perfect. All the food was good truthfully and reasonably priced even with today'sinflation. Also, the boys mostly had beer but I was in a cocktail mood and Kelsie was slinging perfection! Great night andsadly I wish I could go there again soon but I can't. Again I am glad I listen to reviews, the food, drink and service was unbeatable. The 2 girls behind the bar were fast and... attentive, food was very reasonably priced and delicious. I am here on a Wednesday and the surf and turf is all you can eat forthe money. I come to Saskatoon every month and this is my new spot!!!! Read more
Fantastic food, very welcoming and friendly staff. Calm atmosphere, music wasn't too loud, people chatting at their booths.... Highly recommend trying the dinner specials - it's easy to tell that this is fresh food, and that they're "specials" for areason. The surf and turf was one of the best meals I've had in Saskatoon. Amazing place. Went there on suggestion of my friend. Nice cozy place with great bar. They have amazing selection of alcohol... and limited but amazing food menu. We ordered so many things and they were all amazing. The service was really good and Victoriawas really nice. I had an amazing experience overall. Worth trying !! One thing - Chicken wings could be better. They were toosmall in size could have better pieces of chicken in it. Had the pulled pork sandwich which was savoury and flavorful, it came with yummy fries and a fresh coleslaw on the side. I had... the cranberry mojito to drink and it was perfection! Not too sweet or tart, not watered down or too strong, and completed withhints of fresh mint leaves. Service was excellent and the servers were friendly and very attentive. Read more
