Reviews for Tamarind Saskatoon in Saskatoon, SK
Nice and comfortable seating area. A lot of verity of dishes. Could order most menu without thinking twice, loved the vegetarian... and gluten friendly options! Bombay Chaat was star of the appetizers and so is the Lamb seekh kababs. Malabar Prawns spicelevels were optimal. Sambar could've been slightly better. Dosas were crisp and chutney was good too. Would definitely visitagain for the South Indian spread. Service can be improvised. Read more
Went for dinner based on a relative's recommendation, and it did not disappoint. A classy dining experience from the start, and... the food was excellent. Note that the dishes have a thicker consistency here so think more stew than just sauce. Excellent spicekick! Definitely try the dosas. Not something that you get often and it sure tastes authentic. We went to have dinner at Tamarind. Disappointed overall with the food. We ordered Masala Dosa, Chicken Village, Dal Makhani,... Fish, Chilly Chicken & Lamb Kebab. Quality of food was not upto the mark. Chicken and lamb were not upto the mark. They did notseem fresh or properly cooked. Quality of naan, paranthas was really good. The service was really good. You need to improveyour food game. I personally liked Dosa. Sambar was good but chutneys were horrible. Good dining experience and it is wellconnected with public transport on 8th street. Read more

Large portions, great service, and delicious curry, paneer and naan. The Cauliflower 65 appetizer was amazing!
They have the best Paneer Tikka Masala in town! We enjoyed the smoky flavor and the aroma of the spices in tikka masala. It was... yum! The Samosa filing tastes pretty authentic. My wife and I went for a supper and really loved the decor and the overallambiance. They are quite new in town and all ears for any feedback. We had such a lovely experience here. Would highly recommendto pay a visit. Also, the current address will take you to Mr. Mikes Steakhouse but actually this restaurant is right behindShoppers drug mart and next to Deluxe Paints. Went to Tamarind for dinner with friends. We all had different meals and we each felt that our meal was the best. We had the... most rewarding experience with delicious food, served beautifully, mellow Indian music, a lovely ambiance, and very friendly, respectful, and helpful staff, all at very decent price. Finally, I loved the fact that the tables were covered with white tablecloths and the cutlery was tucked in inside carefully folded cloth napkins. I look forward to eating at Tamarind again. Read more
