My whole family loves Popeye's chicken so much. The crunch of the breading and the spices. Best sides (my personal... opinion) Mashed potatoes with gravy Red beans and rice Fries Onion rings I do not care for the over cooked soggy Mac andcheese, corn on the cob or the coleslaw. Went for a chicken sandwich with my girlfriend about 2:30 pm... the sandwichs were not fresh.. like they were pre-made from 11... am or maybe earlier.. not worth it at all.. and can the sides be any smaller and tasteless.. very disappointed overall.. used tolike this franchise.. and the passed out drunk at the front door was no help.. The food is consistent like you would expect from a franchise, but we've never gotten an order from this location that wasn't... missing something like a biscuit or gravy or dipping sauces. I was going to leave a comment asking to make sure I got my extrabiscuit but they've disabled comments. They know what they're doing... Food is always good when you get what you asked for. Order correctness is better than 50/50 but you should always verify your... order before driving away. Often quite busy though and the weird double drive through lane is confusing at best and frustratingat worst. If you have been waiting in the straight through lane behind the building. New people coming through the parking lotassume that they should be able to zipper into the line even though they have not been waiting. Effectively allowing them to cutin. I ordered a four piece platter with red beans and rice and I got fries instead. I politely asked the drive thru guy to change my... order that was already messed up, but he was rude, never apologised, and refused to correct the mistake. They also served me oldand disgusting chicken. This location used to be very good and professional and I used to come here with my sister all thetime. Already had a very bad experience at circle drive with the burger packaging and Yesterday bought 4pcs of chicken from 8th st... location went to work and opened it looked so dark brown popeyes chicken never looked so dark brown only when the oil has notbeen changed & the oil smelled so bad still ate it was hungry and few moments later stomach started reacting to it felt likenever buy again. Each time I go through this location, something is messed up. Today, NO GRAVY. I paid 16$ for tenders, fries and GRAVY. I can't... even call because it just says "this person cannot be reached at this time". Convenient. Today is the first time for me visiting this location. Very clean inside with spacious design. Service was friendly and quick.... Their Classic chicken sandwiches are some of the best you will ever try. I have had Chik-fil-A many times in the past in the USand this sandwich is pretty similar in taste and quality.
