Ordered the fruit bowl which shows tons of different fruit, got a cup of grapes which had mold on most them. The avacodo... sandwich was inedible since the avacodo was so far from being ripe, it was rock hard and tasteless. Disappointing in every way. Read more

I was in the La Prep in Saskatoon. I stopped yesterday for What USED to be delicious quiche. I had a mushroom/truffle quiche.... For 5.99 it was a small slice then when I took a knife to it it was like cutting a steak. It was hard and tasted like it hadbeen on the shelf for the whole week. The pastry tasted like it was freezer burnt. I could not believe it. Before The quichesused too be light and fluffy and crispy flaky crust. I was not greeted with a hello, a smile or a thank you. Also the man thatserved me smelled like he needed a shower. Had an unclean body smell. Definitely not what you want to smell when you order foodor drink. Never never will I go there again our recommend it to anyone. Read more

Overpriced for what it is. My wife, son and myself had 2 sandwiches, 2 soup, a cup of grapes w/ cheese, cookie and drinks which... cost us over $44. We could have went to an actual restaurant and had full murals for the same price. To top it off, the soup wasalmost inedible. Read more

I had the chicken avocado wrap grilled. The meal with cranberry juice came to $10.50 which I thought was fair. The wrap tasted... good, but the avocado was used sparingly. They have a lot of options, where you are best to attempt to look through theirdisplays to see everything. They had wraps, ciabatta buns, and a type of pita sandwich. Plus a variety of salads including apasta dish option. I'd be skeptical to try their lattes based on prior people's reviews. Read more

I decided to give them a chance after hearing they were under new ownership so I have stopped in a couple times to grab... breakfast on the way to work. The bagels are genuinely inedible. They were stale but also somehow the toaster managed to leavethe bagel still cold. The fruit, yoghurt, and oatmeal are all way overpriced for what you get. The tea lattes are bland, likethey don't know how to make them. Couple that with service that is about as enthusiastic as a someone facing a root canal andto be frank go anywhere else. Read more

Do not recommend for coffee. The espresso is quite weak, the milk is watery, and they keep leftover steamed milk in a... refrigerator to top up and re-steam. Re-heating milk over and over can't be good; lattes taste like the milk has spoiled. Read more

I used to go to La Prep a few years back because I worked down the street. I hadn't had the pleasure of going back since the new... ownership!WOW!!!! All I can say is WOW! Excellent and quick service! Even better, the food was restaurant quality. Being in thehospitality industry I know it's really difficult to serve food that is amazing in an in-and-out setting! I can't believe howstellar this was! The staff were so kind and efficient! I had the Siracha Chicken on Foccacia with home baked lime Pita Chipsand Tzatziki--all totally amazing. This place was super clean-- I mean spotless. It's hard to imagine that from something thatsort of serves in lieu of a food court, but it was immaculate. Their espresso machine is also totally on point! They get it! Weneed great tasting caffeine. What really touched my heart was Savita! Oh -- she really cares! Even though you pay at the tillhere, she still took the initiative and care to come to our table and ask if we would we would like an after meal coffee ordrink and to see if there was anything else she could get is. This matters. Service matters. La Prep gets it. They're not just asandwich place in a downtown highrise-- they'll treat you like you're at their own house. To sum it up FOOD 5 STARS, EFFICIENCY5 STARS, SERVICE 6 STARS. You won't believe it till you go. Trust me. This is what good hospitality is about! P.S. Everythinglooked fresh and amazing! Can't wait to post my next review! Read more

I've been there more the once and I don't understand how it's lined up out the door. The cream soups taste like rotten milk. ... The service is terrible. They don't know how to make half the things on the menu. They didn't know how to make the oatmealtherefore they made me choose a premade yogurt parfait instead. They claim they have a gluten free bun but they can't make asimple turkey and swiss sandwich on it and refused to make anything else on it. So why advertise that you have it when yourstaff refuses to make it? Read more
