Menu for Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre in Saskatoon, SK

Checked in for 2 days, was clean and nice. The tv in room was not working properly so told front desk they had us change rooms ,... as there was no tvs to swap. Abit of a pain but we changed rooms. Ordered breakfast from down stair restaurant, it was tasty butthey messed up order , no toast and no hash brown on one order, told them about it and said they would give it to us next day. Well we went next morning to collect and the guy was not going to give what was missing from yesterdays order!! Made fuss abouttoast!!! I recently stayed for a conference. When I showered there was no slip mat for the tub and no bars for stepping out of the... shower. This is a safety problem as I have a slight disability. This hotel was nice and clean. I got offered a complimentary breakfast at check in which was a pleasant surprise. My only... complaint is that the desk in the room had slanted edges. I didn't notice until I had put both my computer and my cell phone onthe edge of the desk and they both fell off. This seems like an odd choice for furniture in the room as it reduces the usablespace of the desk and serves no purpose. I liked that they had an extension cord near the bed for me to charge my phone asthere weren't any free plugs near the nightstand. The free breakfast was tasty (I had eggs, bacon and hashbrowns).Unfortunately, there was only one server for the whole restaurant so it took a while for him to come and take my order. For starters, a $250 deposit for a room is outrageous. We were charged $450 ($250 deposit + $200 preauthentication fee). The... room was small, beds were okay. No full sized towels in the room. When we asked from desk for some, they said they did not haveanymore and said they could only give us 4 more hand towels (we had 3 people in our room). Apon checkout, we were then chargedfor the room. So now we have to wait 5 business days before we see the $450. Staff was nice but it did not make up for the poorservice in the room and prises. I'm not one to write reviews but I felt compelled to share my experience with others looking to stay here. There were minor... inconveniences with our stay, we had brought them up nicely to the front desk lady and she responded with, "well I'm not the onewho picked the hotel."
