Three of us went out for dinner, sat on the patio. Santa Fe chicken salad, top sirloin steak, and the tuna bowl. Great variety,... everything was delicious. Service was good however it took awhile for the waitress to return with the requested lines for mywater (took 3 attempts) and the drinks were slow. My daughter & I decided to return here for a lunch together. Previous visit was 6 years ago. Earl's is still doing very well. We... arrived at High Noon & a lovely hostess secured us a patio table for 2 in minutes. Our wonderful waitress Kina took our orderswithin minutes. We started with a Basil Watermelon Splash for her while I had the Double Passion Moscow Mule. Both were verytasty. Entrees included Cajun Chicken Sandwich with Fries & Gravy & the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl with a side of yam fries. Serviceremains terrific & food delicious. Couldn't say more good things. My self and my mom were out for dinner after cirque du soleil. Our server, Frederick, was... attentive and prompt. Both my steak and my mother's were done to perfection and I highly recommend adding the mushrooms andpeppercorn sauce. Bathrooms were clean and smelled nice. Hostess' were informative and friendly. We've been here lots in the past and it's always been a great meal. Tonight was not. Our order was slow coming out, the dining... room was not even half full when we ordered, so I really doubt it was because the kitchen was slammed. When the food did startto come out I received my starter 10 minutes before my wife got hers. The kids food showed up in three different times. When Igot my main the meat in the sandwich was cold, and the bun had completely dried out because it sat under the light in the passfor so long. I'm not sure what has happened to the dining room management since I was there last about 2 month ago, but it'snot good. The whole service felt disorganized, I had a clear view of the pass where our table was and it was overflowing withfood the whole time we were there. Some plates sat for a long time. Frustrating to watch that good food sit there and dry outunder those heating lamps. I know Earls is a good restaurant has always been great and consistent, tonight was a real shock.Get back to your old self Earls or I'm afraid you'll start to see your customers find other destinations for supper. I live nearby and I like to come here often for drinks and dinner with friends. It takes a while so don't expect a quick meal.... I generally enjoy this aspect and they usually have great food.. Today i was served rotten veggies on a salad and when Imentioned this they brought the plate to the kitchen and just removed a portion of the meal and sent back the same plate. Earl's design and atmosphere are definitely the main reason to visit, whether you want to stay inside to enjoy their lounge bar... or have a fresh meal on their patio. Their service was excellent too. Think of it as paying for the experience not so much forthe food. $$$$ Read more
First time eating here oh my goodness, so tasty!! The staff all friendly. The food!! Wow and the dessert yummy.
I loved the food here, loved it, the rosemary focacia(?) bread slice I had with my chicken caesar salad was probably the best... bread I have ever eaten (truly)! Caesar salad was dope and I got the cajun chicken and it was spiced to perfection. Service wasamazing! 4 stars due to the atmosphere - it is so aesthetically strange but cool outside with it's 3 giant parrots and sortagothic pirate ship graveyard feel - Inside however is boring af - looks like almost every other restaurant on 2nd ave (lookingat you state and main and the cactus club) which is a shame.
