Reviews for Crazy Cactus in Saskatoon, SK
Food was good. It was an awesome vibe for mexican food and drinks with the guys after work or for lunch!
Place is wack. Kicked me out because I had a longboard. Your loss. I was only going to spend a few hundred. Less tips for your... employees. Typical crazy cactus ownership. Read more
We were upstairs, after many stairs lol It was only us and a bartender, Chris or Matt comes to mind but not sure either way he... made the experience enjoyable by suggesting drinks and food, we pretty much went with his suggestions and wasn't disappointed, thanks dude!!! Read more
Patio was nice treat to sit in the sun. Drink options lacked, food was OK, and it was too loud. Loud as like, club loud, not... restaurant/bar loud. Waitress was super nice though Read more
Amazing roof top patio. Had the 5 drinks bucket for $30, and the happy hour pizza which was delicious and shareable for 2... people. Would definitely come back and recommend it to others. Read more

They must have worked hard to get the new Crazy Cactus location ready for their New Year's Eve celebration. Only a couple of... weeks earlier, we were paying a last visit to their old location before they closed it down and moved everything downtown totheir new 3rd Avenue location. A few days into the new year, we dropped in to check things out. Then, a week or so after that,we dropped in again. I have to say, the downtown location is much more convenient for us than the old location, although Isuspect that parking could be more of a problem. The new location has the same atmosphere as the old location, but with a lotmore space. Plus, it's newer, so that helps a lot, too. I don't like the boisterous nighttime crowds, but I do like Crazy Cactusfor its lunch and supper menu. It's a great place to stop in on a Saturday afternoon. They have an interesting approach to themenu. Every entree is $8, so you just pick what you like and know that no matter what you pick, it'll cost the same. On the backof the menu, everything is $9. There are extras, such as starters and salads. There are also specials on Mondays, Tuesdays andWednesdays. Simple. I like that. They made a good choice in putting Churchill Brewing Company on tap. I'm happy to say thatCrazy Cactus now brews locally roasted beans from Road Coffee Company in Saskatoon. Decent coffee means thatyour friends will be fighting over being the designated driver. Service was really, really slow on our last visit. It felt likewe were being deliberately ignored, but maybe there was just some dispute over which server was assigned to our table. It madeus feel unwelcome, and it was so opposite to our experience the times we visited for lunch. Once we managed to get the server'sattention, we received our drinks promptly and our food arrived quickly after that. We never got a Read more
