i went out for brunch with a friend and this was my first time here. i ordered the strawberry avalanche for fannie. (i got my... french toast plain) the food itself was mid tier. the french toast was delicious but its score was heavily affected by the verybland and basic potato wedges. the eggs were on the drier side but i don’t like my eggs wet so it worked. bacon is bacon,always good. i was also supposed to get toast with my meal, was told it was on its way, it never came. overall wasn’t worththe $19 for this meal. wont be coming back. Friendly service upon entering and nice comfortable atmosphere. Well presented large portion meals with good table service.... Unfortunately the hollandaise sauce was a let down on the eggs benedict. It had next to no flavour. The pancakes were tasty buta bit dry. Good value for what we had. Update.. Management has reached out with a hand written letter asking us to give themanother try and some vouchers. It was a nice touch that is not seen much these days. We finally went to Cora for brunch this Sunday. Overall it was a great experience. We ordered Pancakes & Egg Salad... sandwich. Food was great and the qty was awesome. Only thing they can improve is the time of service. We had to wait very longfor our order to come. The area is well connected if you want to use public transport and ample parking space in the PrestonComplex. Definitely recommended. Our server - Shae was also very pleasant and friendly ..
