Black Pepper is hands down my favourite Indian restaurant in the city. Their naan is perfect. I almost always get Asia sauce... (mango curry) with fish. So amazing! We also almost always order takeout. Read more
We order from Black Pepper at least once a week. Best Indian food in saskatoon! Last week we ordered and the butter chicken... was not good. I called the restaurant to ask why and the manager told me there was a new cook and he was still learning. Heassured me he would fix the mistakes and our next order would be on him. I called tonight and he remembered our conversationand honored his last conversation with me. Amazing customer service, amazing food and great prices. An amazing lunch buffet... fresh, hot, delcious!! The Paneer Masala was amazing! The Chicken Tikka Masala, the rice and Naan... bread.... all delicious. The Fish Pakora and vegetarian samosas also top notch! Highly recommended. Fragrant with spices andflavors of India. Read more

Ordered food from them multiple times. Food tastes very good. But they don't listen or read any instructions given in order.... Multiple times I asked them to keep chicken pieces small so kids can have it too (it's not hard to make small pieces bymyself,but I asked them to do it bcz I pay for order). but they don't care and don't listen at all. Naan was over cooked fromone side (burnt), chicken in butter chicken was not properly cooked. Salad was missing salt and lemon, it was covered withgrounded black pepper. ( That's their name is that's why ? ) Even in optional instructions I written clearly but they don't care, won't recommend anyone if they don't improve. Kuldeep Singh ( owner) pay attention. I ordered the tandoori chicken with garlic naan bread and 2 chutnys mango and tameric . Always up for a good tandoori but the... chicken was more saucy than the dry rub and char grilled tandoori I was used to from other restaurants, so the flavour didn'tpack as much of a punch but still good none the less! Dinner buffet is open! First time trying this particular restaurant and absolutely loved the food. My wife and I eat Indian... food regularly, and have eaten Indian food from all over Canada. From Vancouver to Toronto and even in St. John's Newfoundlandand the food here is on par with the best we have had and is easily the best in Saskatoon. The Butter Chicken was actually thebest we have had and the Naan was so light and fluffy and hot buttered out of the oven. Couldn't stop at just one. Service wasexcellent and they were very friendly. We will definitely be going back. Update: was there a couple of weeks ago and they nolonger have dinner buffet. Food was still just as good as before. Read more
