Just back from our 1st visit to our local Sunset Grill and likely our last ! We were seated promptly and brought coffee and... water right away....good ! My wife order a meat lovers poutine which was advertised with hollandaise sauce and chives(which sheluvs). Her meal was good ...... hollandaise sauce was good but no chives so not so bad altogether but I ordered blueberrypancakes advertised as light and fluffy ! When I got them they were barely warm and then the butter I was given was FROZENwhipped butter which is one of my pet peeves at any restaurant ! Now that was bad enough but to top it off the pancakes wereleathery rather than "light and fluffy"! When I went to pay and the cashier asked me how things were and I told her all she saidwas "I'm so sorry".......no discount offered.....not asked if I'd like to speak to the manager.....NOTHING ! Just enjoyed a breakfast at sunset grill the service was amazing and fast! The food was warm and delicious - and good value... for the price! If you have not tried this place I would recommend a visit!! Read more

Absolutely the worst breakfast l have had in Sarnia. There were six of us getting together to catch up. I ordered the... vegetarian omelette with an addition of feta cheese. My omelette was way over cooked and tough. The home fries were anunpleasant grayish brown hue, greasy, and barely warm. Even everyone?s toast was cold. One of our party ordered waffle withsausage. She was informed when the rest of us were getting our meals that the waffle maker wasn?t working and her sausages werebrought on a plate, and sat while we ate and she waited for her pancakes. I work next door, and when i ordered breakfast i had to just stay at the store because i was the only employee. The one waitress... with blonde hair came and dropped it off!! I told her she didn?t need to do that, but it was so kind. Foods great, you just haveto specify what you want & they?ll help you out. Read more
Went for lunch today with a group of 10. The host said they didn't have room for 10 available and they won't for 30-45 minutes.... Not all of our group was there yet so we told the host we will know in a few minutes on what our decision would be as not allthe party was there yet. A few of us that were there went to use the washroom. Then the host comes asking if the people who wentto go use the washroom are with them. He said yes and she said the washrooms are for customers only. She made us feel that theydidn't want to serve us. So we decided to go to Johns Restaurant down the road and were given such great service and the food isalso very good. Read more
Definitely coming back! Great place to eat and staff are amazing. Shout out to Lisa who?s been my server twice in a row and very... tentative, polite and kind. She?s such a hard worker and does a wonderful job. I?ve been in a few times already and thebreakfast is just delicious. I usually am the kind of person who gets the same thing every time. Which is what I did mostly- the eggs Benedict is great. They... always got my order correct and it was freaking delicious. The one or two times I strayed away from that order it was alwaysjust as amazing. Read more
