I almost can't even put it into words. We ordered 3 breakfasts. 2 were skillets and pictured here a breakfast poutine. John's... has been around for years and great standard breakfasts. The last 3 times I've visited, the breakfasts unfortunately have beensubpar. Today I tried again. It was 50 min for takeout and it wasn't ready at the time indicated & the site requests a tip priorto food/service. $45 later..expensive breakfast and tasteless. The poutine potatoes weren't even grilled. The hollandaisetasteless. Barely any mushrooms and burnt teeny tiny bits of ham on the skillets. Very disappointing. I highly recommendJohn's focuses on their original standard breakfasts and do it well, rather then too many options done poorly. I'm disappointedas this place has always been the #1 in my books. Have gone for breakfast. Home fries aren't cooked long enough for my taste, just basic potatoes. They only serve Canadian bacon,... would love to have the choice. Eggs and toast are made just as good at home. Decent but not worth going out for. Eager to trysome of their lunch or dinner specials. Staff seem to be great. Read more
Was amazing, great service, delicious food, cowbell tasting ???? I had the pot roast (fall apart it was so tender), mashed... potatoes and gravy, beans.. rice pudding for dessert. Yum! Read more
This is not the first time this has happened. The potatoes were drenched in oil. I lifted my plate and put a knife under it and... as you can see the oil pooled to one side of the plate. I asked the waitress if she would eat it and she said no. Then why serveit to me? Read more

Haven?t been to John?s for a couple of years. Disappointing and hopefully a one off. Went today and coffee was like water,... pancake was rock hard on the bottom and cold, toast was like cardboard and the eggs seemed small. The has brown wasn?t cookedlike it use to be. Was under cooked and mushy. This was always my go to breakfast place but not sure I will be back. Likelywon?t matter seems busy like usual. Hope it stays strong! Read more
