Reviews for Sean's Smokehouse BBQ & Grill in Saratoga Springs, UT
The quality is definitely falling. I got a burger that looked and tasted like it was microwaved. My husband got the 2 meat place... with ribs and brisket that we mostly just fat and gristle. For 2 people with drinks it was 45 bucks and came out on paperplates. Super disappointed in how bad it has gotten. Most likely wont be returning. It used to be so good. Read more
Not sure if I was just starving or if it was really this good but MAN. I absolutely loved our meal ? the brisket was superb.... The baked beans on our loaded potato were also great. They make their sauces in house and the smokey was amazing. I don?t leaninto spicy sauces too heavily but the spicy BBQ was also just killer. Same with the berry sweet bbq haha ? I?m a big sauce guyand I loved them all ???? Thanks guys! We?re coming back soon Read more
Pretty bad. They say they don't like dry meat but it's dry. Even the Texas toast is dry. The most basic service they can provide... is water but even the water machine is broken. Not sure how good this place was before but it's really, really, really bad rightnow. It's crazy how they charge $21 for three meat plate that looks like 3 days old. I really want this place to be good becausewe don't have a BBQ place around here. Please up the game. Read more

Have been wanting to try this place out for a while now, we finally had the chance last night. We ordered to go and I have to... say, I was extremely disappointed. The boxes were just covered in sauce and seasonings. Bad form! I ordered the 3 meat platterand had to try the ribs and brisket from reading the reviews. The ribs looked like they were for a toddler. I think I got 3small bites of meat out of both of them combined. Not worth it. The brisket was extremely salty, but not bad. I enjoy a bit ofsalt myself, but my wife could not stomach a bite. The bread was so so. I ordered steak fries to go with Mr meal and those wereactually really well seasoned. I enjoyed those. My daughter got the bacon cheeseburger, and I have to agree with other people?sreviews, not worth it. There burger has absolutely ZERO flavor in there meat. Very disappointing. The cheese was hard as a rockand inedible. My wife got the smoked chicken, and she seemed to like it. Very moist throughout and cooked well. The salad wasliterally just lettuce, nothing else. Nothing to write home about. Her cornbread could?ve broke a hole in the wall if I threw itat it. Hard as a rock and not flavorful at all. The kids cheeseburger was meh, and same result, no flavor in the meat. Theshoestring fries were good. And the last item, customer service. I?m not sure they know what the word means. I think there were2 16 years old kids running the joint, and in their defense, their kids but the kids would not recommend anything to me when Iasked bc I?ve never been there before. There too good boxes looked like they were pulled out of the garbage and given tous. Overall, very disappointed in this experience. Good fries, good chicken, so so brisket, and the sauces were meh. I wasreally hoping to have a good experience here, but was left with a non memorable experience unfortunately. The quality andexperience we had was no where near worth the price we paid. Could?ve went to a fast food place for literally ha Read more
POSITIVES: the No. 1 thing on the menu... Pulled pork. If that's in any part of your meal, you won't be lead astray. It was so... juicy and flavorful, that it didn't need sauce. I hear their brisket is awesome, but didn't have the opportunity to try it. Idid try the Triple Threat sandwich with pulled pork, ham, and bacon, and it was pretty good. The shoe-string fries were alsotasty, but we resorted to that once they informed us they were out of their steak fries. The decor is... Let's put it this way:anyone who is anti-2nd amendment, or afraid to be around those who love the American flag will feel very uncomfortable, thoughI'm sure Sean's welcomes all. You'll find bullet shells of all sizes lining the countertop, and t-shirts lining a wall thatmatch the country feel, and a very endearing mini-table in the corner with a poem to respect the veterans and memorialize thelives of those "gone but not forgotten". There's also a rustic bandsaw in part of the room. I've only been here once, but allthese things will stick with me. NEGATIVES: unfortunate to say that some of the other things we experienced will also stick inmy mind when I think of this place. They had lots of BBQ sauce options, none of which were worth writing home about for me,though I appreciate that they're their own unique house-made sauces. Black and Blue (a mix of blackberry and blueberry) was toofruity sweet, Tennessee Holler'in (pretty spicy, but acquired taste), the Carolina Tangy Mustard (was way too vinegary for mytaste), and the Texas Smoke, which was probably the best out of all of them, but still not as good as other sauces I've had. Iwas really excited to try my bacon cheeseburger after seeing that flat, crispy fried cheese, and the awesome looking buns. Butafter tasting the burger, something was off. Bad meat? Weird flavors added? Not sure but it made me a bit queazy and I couldn'tfinish it. The service was subpar. They constantly forgot the items we ordered (with my triple threat Read more
Friday evening around 5:30. We've seen it before and wanted to try something new. Read the reviews so we decided to give it a... shot. Not busy at all. I think there were only two employees there. We ordered and sat down. No longer of a wait than one wouldexpect. I ordered the 2 meat plate with pulled pork and brisket. Got the cowboy beans for my side. The wife got the cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. The pork was very good. The brisket was a tad on the dry side but still full of flavor. It had anice bark but there was no smoke ring like I get when I smoke my brisket. The Texas toast was good. Really only need one slice. The cowboy beans was a disappointment. It's just beans in a sauce. It had kick but left much to be desired. I was hoping formore in it like meat and peppers but no. I didn't try any sauces since I like to taste the meat. The burger was decent andtasty. The cheese is a large melted slab of cheese which I like! The fries were crispy. The wife said she liked it and felt itwas worth the cost. We got the dessert of the day to go. Today it was peach cobbler. The wife hated it. I thought it was okay.Very cakey and heavy. I would suggest making napkins easier to get at. I know with these days, it's hard to do but something toconsider. Will we come back? Most likely yes. I want to try the other meats and burgers. I do recommend this place. Read more
Had high hopes for this place, especially since every other establishment in Saratoga Springs is averaging a 2.5 stars. But,... alas, I was let down again. The ribs were so over cooked and old that they were inedible, and everything else tasted as thoughit had been sitting there festering all day. So disappointed. Read more
