For all the healthy, whole food hype (and high price) we got a bag of Lay?s Potato Chips with our meal. This is unacceptable for... a place that markets itself as a healthy place to eat. The portions are very small. We spent $85 for lunch for two adults andtwo small children. Furthermore, my wife entered the bathroom after the employee exited only to find urine still in the toiletand on the seat. The soup was so salty it was barely palatable. All marketing. No substance. I ordered a bowl that consisted of quinoa sweet potato spinach leeks Tempe and tahini. Very bland and undercooked. There were no... other condiments to add to make it taste better. The bathroom was out of toilet paper. The restaurant is cute but the waiterforgot to add the Tempe and I'm the only customer. Had to wait quite a while for the food. For $17 this was very disappointing.The music is way too loud inside and I did mention it to him but he did not offer to turn it down. I would not recommend thisfood. Maybe I'll just ordered the wrong thing. Next time, I'll drive out of town for Core Life Eatery! Read more
Very disappointed. Food was overpriced and portions very small. I ordered my bowl came with no greens or avacado as requested... which left next to nothing in the to-go container. The quinoa was hard and far too much of it in our other bowl. We were quoteda 10 min wait for everything and were there for over 25 with hardly anyone else in the place. For a $50 lunch, this was simplyunacceptable. Thorn + Root will get our business from now on when work takes us to Saratoga Springs. Read more

I literally stopped in for lunch to get out of the rain AND I'M GLAD I DID. Firstly, the most impressive young man took my... order. I was then presented with one of the most delicious, healthy salads I've ever had in my life, all cut up perfectly so Ididn't even need a knife. And THIS salad actually filled me up, too. I got the toga-rashi bowl and PB cacao smoothie and my husband had the sunflower salad, both were excellent. Completely fresh,... clean food that makes you feel energized, rather than tired. Cute decor with indoor and outdoor seating. Will be back. Read more
