OMG this is my favorite new restaurant. I had sushi and curry, it was awesome. Curry was a little on the thin liquid side and... I prefer mine thicker but it was delicious just the same. Servers very warm and friendly. Restaurant was decorated very nicelyand was totally comfortable. They also had some outdoor seating. There is some street parking or you can go to a downtownparking garage and walk there and enjoy the scenic downtown area. Read more

The Thai Donuts were excellent although I didn't get them with chocolate. They're great for sharing with friends cuz they're... kind of big and there's five of them in an order. I had the spicy chicken Thai noodles and I had them make it number eight Thaispicy and it was excellent and as hot as I wanted! I had the mixed vegetables which were good on the vegetarian menu. The springrolls and the basil rolls are also both very good although I think the basil rolls were better. I didn't like the sauce thatcame with the spring rolls but the one that came with the basil rolls was excellent. Took roughly 20 minutes from the time Iplace my order to get my food to go so I was happy with that. I had water, green tea, and a Thai donut while I was waiting. Theatmosphere is nice, parking can be intense after 6:30 but prior to that there's usually Lots. The waitress was very nice andefficient. I saw a multitude of dishes going out and they all looked fantastic definitely will go back to try more! Read more

Good sushi but nothing to rave about. The crab wantons were good but different than usual with a little curry flavor to them.... Everything tasted fresh but was bland. My husband and I both agreed nothing was that flavorful and was lacking something. Eventhe spicy rolls we ordered were bland and not spicy at all. Read more

Pricing and packing will make me rethink a future order. The Tom Kha was served in a standard to-go container half empty and... the pictured $3 additional dipping sauce should which would have cost 70 cents anywhere else, is also half empty. (And no, noevidence of any spillage) 2 stars for correct food order and good flavor. I don?t feel like I got what I paid for. Read more

Spice Station had great lunch deals and a rather large menu. The sushi menu was rather small and not very unique. The sushi... rolls and side salad were definitely smaller portions than normal and they were far from the best Japanese food I?ve tasted. However, the service was quick and the prices were relatively cheap. I ordered the Mexican roll and the Jalapeño Salmon roll. Read more

But skeptical when there is a mix of Thai food and sushi. My daughter said the curry is good. My spicy noodle is ok.

We were visiting Sarasota and we love a good Thai restaurant. After reading the reviews, we considered giving Spice Station a... try to develop our own review. The ambiance is nice. I like the option they provided of outdoor seating. The food was great, very flavorful. Appetizer?s were small servings for the price, so that was a con but we were pleased with the taste. My onlycomplaint is the service was lacking. When we were seated, no one came to our table to offer water for a while. I had to get upand ask them. When we were ordering, the hostess appeared to be rushing us. All in all the food was great. Read more

Pretty good food. Very friendly service. Large and diverse menu with vegan options. Some outdoor tables and clean restrooms.
