OMG! The interior is so cute & really clean. I always look at the floors, ceiling & walls for cleanliness of a resturant, A++.... The food was sooo good, waiter very attentive. Had an omelet, cooked perfect, not brown & rubbery. My compliments to thecooks. They have a large menu of items, breakfast & lunch. I will return next time I'm in Sarasota Read more
Stopped on the way out from Venice this morning for breakfast. So glad we did . A friend said you got to try it ,it is good .... Well they were so right . Wasn't prepared for so much food . I took some of my breakfast with me . We don't have a Skillets inPA. Sure wish we did ! Read more
The atmosphere was great the food was awful. We had a new server that really didn't know anything about the menu or food that... was served. We ordered sausage biscuits and gravy which came with 2 eggs and breakfast potatoes. Our biscuit tops and bottomswere crispy which was not expected or desired, the gravy was not at all hot, the potatoes ended up being some type of casserole.The manager spoke to us at checkout, said that's how their biscuits are, was going to speak to kitchen staff about gravytemperature and provided a discount to our meal Read more
In town visiting my parents and we decided to Stop in for a mid-day breakfast. I ordered the pancake combo breakfast where you... get two pancakes, choice of meat (I got the pork sausage) and two eggs. I added strawberry toppings with warm strawberry syrupfor $2 more and their special skillet potatoes. The pancakes were the size of a traditional size plate and they were good. Theeggs were prepared to my request and they met my expectations. The pork sausage was good but the skillet potatoes were just ok.The potatoes needed a little more flavor and maybe a few onions. The service was awesome! Overall, I would visit this placeagain and I would definitely recommend that you give it a try. Read more
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Our family highly enjoyed Skillets, from the Resturant?s atmosphere, the food, which... was delish!!!! Our server Jacqui was phenomenal! Her suggestions was spot on and she very attentive even though the restaurantwas very busy. She was great! Try and I say TRY the homemade whip cream!!!!! No wait when we arrived. Friendly server. Good coffee. Got food out fairly quick after ordering. No mimosa :( croissant French... toast wasn't very special, saving grace was I got it covered in fruit which is worth the $2. Everything else was good. Cleanrest rooms. Today was a disappointment. Chicken salad platter good but small serving of chicken salad, with dry greens, and rather dry old... banana bread. Lots of good fruit. Last time we had this, there was a hefty serving of chicken salad and banana bread waslightly sautéed and was good. Because we paid early, there was no further service to refresh or ask us if we needed anything. Maybe an off day. Read more
