They were working in extreme heat, I believe by generator after the storm, working hard making food. You definitely deserve 5... stars for of course the amazing pizza we ate, but for the dedication and hard work in the heat like that. We thank you. ???? Read more
Craving eggplant, my sister and I stopped by Sal?s in Gulf Gate. I ordered eggplant rollatini, which came with a generous side... of spaghetti with marinara sauce and a roll. My sister had eggplant Parmesan, also with a side of spaghetti and a roll. We eachhad an Italian salad. I gave my dish two enthusiastic thumbs up. The portion was more than enough for lunch and dinner, thesauce reminded me of my Italian mother?s, and the ricotta filling in the rolled-up eggplant was creamy and flavorful. I woulddefinitely get it again! My sister said her eggplant Parm was breaded too heavily for her, but she liked the sauce, thespaghetti and the salad. If you love the smell of an authentic Italian kitchen and enjoy watching a real pro such as Sal spinand stretch pizza dough, stop by for a full sensory experience. Read more

It?s good . A simple no frills New Jersey style ,small pizza joint.Thin crust with made to order simple ingredients. Not much... decor with after thought wall decorations.Hallway to Rest rooms is through an unsightly storage area.In fact the whole placeappears disorganized.
