Very nice service which gets the 2 Stars?.2nd time in a row that the order of food was not good. It was edible however the rice... was starchy tasting and the oil desperately needs freshening which was the issue the last time . Spring rolls, egg rolls andfried shrimp would have been amazing if it weren?t for the old tasting oil. This was our spot for a couple years, won?t returnwhich stinks because they?re always so kind. Quality of food was very disappointing for the price. Spent $50 for 2 people. The fried Rice was so very old. The staff was... nice and it didn't take long but man I could have gone to Yummy House and gotten way better value and quality of Chinese food. Read more

I am not one to leave negative reviews, but because I have ordered from here many times over the years, and it was my favorite... Chinese food in Sarasota, I need to share: I understand prices have gone up, but when the quality goes down at the same time,it is very disappointing. The food had no flavor. There was some heat to the Kung Pao Chicken that I ordered, beyond that, noflavor. For $15, I got mostly sauce and large pieces of broccoli, with very little chicken etc.. We don't go to this place very often due to distance and traffic, but when we do, it's always an excellent experience! Today's... my birthday and so we made a special trip to pick up dinner. I built my own stir fry with veggies and fried tofu in their vegangarlic sauce and it was delicious! The veggies and tofu were cooked just right with no sogginess in the veggies and the tofuwas nice and firm. Everything soaked up that garlic sauce perfectly and the portion I ate was so flavorful. I also had a smallhot and sour soup which was also very flavorful. I could taste the sour right away while the hot component really built up andmade my mouth tingle pleasantly! My husband tried the Vegan Singapore Mi Fen and just completely devoured the portion he hadfor tonight's dinner. I could smell the curry in his dish and might have to ask him nicely for a small taste when we reheat fortomorrow! I wish that either we lived closer, or that another shop could open in our area (NW Bradenton, near AMI). Can't waitto go back! Edited to add: the man who took our order also gave us top-tier customer service! He came out to take our orderbefore I could call it in and was very nice and pleasant. I was very impressed with the quality of food five years ago. I started noticing that the food began changing in 2020 after... Covid 19 had surfaced over time. We decided to take a chance and order again. Big MISTAKE! ???? The fried rice was dried out &tasted old & reheated. The General Tso's chicken was hard to chew & dry. The only thing that tasted "fresh" was the ChineseDonuts. I paid over $50 for the last order & noticed a $5 delivery charge & that didn't include a tip! Save your money andignore the 4.6 Review. My new favorite place for Chinese takeout!! This is the first time I have ever eaten from here before, and they definitely... knocked it out of the park. I ordered the Sweet Chili Chicken-with fried rice, Krab Rangoons, Vegetable Lo Mein Noodles-withwhite rice and an Egg Roll. If you are worried about a "small" not being enough food for dinner..don't be, combined with therice-the portions are more than enough. Thee best Krab Rangoons I have ever eaten, hands down!! I have tried all of theChinese cuisine in Sarasota, only to be disappointed with the subpar taste and quality. I was continuously getting dark meatchicken in my entree, and most of the time it had a center that was like chewing through leather. Not here, I only had chunksof white meat-and they tasted very succulent. This establishment is a bit tucked away, so unfortunately it has goneunnoticed-but now that I have discovered this little piece of heaven, I will definitely be back for more!!
