We visit the Sarasota Farmer's Market from Tampa, occasionally. Our first stop is Polpo! We order online, and it's ready when... we get there. Our faves are the Carbonara Breakfast and the 505 - the crust is fantastic - charred in all the right places. Wealways get an extra pie to take home. Read more
We had our company Christmas party catered Friday night. What a great company Polpo?s is. From the communication with our events... coordinator to the product itself was perfect. The truck is an amazing business tool that brings you an awesome time. They werethere exactly when they said they would be. The atmosphere they created was so inviting and charming. The bee stinger is the best pizza I have ever had and it has ruined me for pizza anywhere else. Everything else is garbage in... comparison and should just shut down. All these mediocre pizza joints in town and I gotta go to the farmers market to get thebest. Hope they open a permanent location. Read more
Polpo pizza catered our wedding this evening and it was amazing! The food, the atmosphere, the chefs, everything! What fun experience! Polpos brought their adorable fun truck and all the delicious pizza, salad, apps and dessert for a weekend... wedding on the beach. Wow ! Just really excellent pizza. They make their own mozzarella cheese! That in itself is impressive, but hey have a series of... amazing recipes - garlic/spinach, spicy and plain margherita, delicious buttery mushroom with some kind of magic sauce, and soon. The crust is magical too....just the right amount of crispy and puffy (that's not the right word, but it's not'doughy') They do a terrific job - and they are serving take out Thursday thru Sunday at Mandeville Beer Garden for now.....getsome !
