First, I was predisposed to order fish & chips as they have gotten good reviews. I am also allergic to shrimp, which removed... half the menu for me. I let my mom convince me to get scallops. I should have stuck with f&c. I live near the other location andwill most likely try the f&c there. I found the scallops were chewy. I had to cut them with a knife. They were lightly batteredthe same as the fish. I don't know if they were battered while wet or hadn't been flour dredged first, but the batter easilyfell off. The coleslaw and sweet potatoes fries were okay. They use Ken's tartar and cocktail sauce mixes, which not everyonelikes. My mom got the captains platter and I tried her clam strips, which were good. She also had me eat a hushpuppy which wasokay. I won't go here for the scallops. Read more

My sis and I enjoyed a delicious lunch! Friendly attentive staff!! We heard it was the BEST Lobster bisque, and it did NOT... disappoint! So delicious, full of flavor and creamy!! Also ordered coconut shrimp and fries which were Outstanding!! Definitelyreturning, it does get really crowded during "rush" hour for lunch and dinner. Plan ahead. Read more
Great seafood and friendly service. The wasbi shrimp on the shrimp trio are amazing! Shrimp cargo was delicious and filling... enough for a light meal. My fiancé, two sons, and I stopped at KaCeys after a trip from SW Florida back to our hometown of Tampa. Don?t be fooled by... where the restaurant is located??..it was AMAZING!!!! The restaurant has a local vibe and had great service. We still couldn?tbelieve how inexpensive our meal was, and how GREAT the food was.This was the beast seafood meal we have had in a long time. Itypically stick with the same dish once I find something I like, but will be trying the different meals at this restaurant. Wemay be making an excuse to visit Sarasota just to have a meal at KaCyes in the near future. Read more
The food is amazing. I had the Tuna Master Jesse, with crisp wasabi shrimp and perfectly seared tuna. Others in my party had... the Cod Florentine and the shrimp scampi. We are definitely coming back whenever we are in Florida. The apple caramelcheesecake was also delicious. Our waitress was charming, too. The restaurant was moderately full when we arrived but ourfood came out quickly. Read more
