Came here twice in a row actually! Saw this place when I stayed downtown a few months ago and decided to try it out. Had dinner... there yesterday and brought some clients back tonight, absolutely delicious food, drinks, and desserts. I’ve been to alot of upscale restaurants, the service here was on point, they do a partnered service so they have 2 servers... taking care of you at all times. Both waiters were an awesome vibe and were extremely patient and helpful with the menu. Thelighting at the restaurant is nice as well, and the seating is comfortable, overall great atmosphere. The food was sooooo good,waiter recommended a bacon appetizer said if we didn’t like it he’d pay for it, it was really flavorful. Crab cake appetizerwas good too. I ordered my steak medium and it was exactly how I wanted it, I got the 12 oz filet mignon with a lobster tail. Iasked for a blu cheese crust on the steak then ordered it with lump crab meat to put on top. We got asparagus and lobster mac asthe sides for the table. The lady got the Chilean sea bass and it was juicy and not over cooked at all. 5 star experience I willbe back. Spent $245 on the meal and tipped $70, tipped valet outside $10 as well. This was one of the very best dinners in our lives. Not only the food was excellent but the ambiance and service was... impeccable. From the first steps we took inside the restaurant we were greeted with smiles. The Hostess took us to our table andshe asked us where we were coming from, and had a nice short conversation. She introduced the pair of gentlemen that will attendto our dinner, Mark and a gentleman from New York. After we ordered a bottle of wine, the manager brought a small but deliciousappetizer as a welcoming gesture. Every plate that we ordered was prepared to perfection. We started with French Onion soup andCaesar Salad. The Bone-in Ribeye was a perfect medium pink but not bloody. The sides of asparagus and creamed corn pancetta weredelicious and probably enough for 4 people. Our only disappointment was that we couldn’t eat more and try the desserts. Nexttime we drive by the Gulf Coast I will definitely plan stop by Hyde Park. Highly recommended. Read more
1st visit. Not the best overall experience for fine dining. Steaks were just ok in my opinion. Food was not hot when it was... served. Lobster bisque was not tasty. Large sides big enough to share. Restaurant lightening was too dark for me. Read more
Four of us had a Monday night dinner reservation. After being seated outside by the friendly hostess, there was a considerable... amount of time before someone came to our table. Everyone ordered a cocktail and water service. Shortly after someone else cameand asked us our drink and water choices? It seems there was some confusion as to who would be our server. Once they figured allthat out, our service was outstanding. We made our dinner selections and ordered wine with dinner. Our food came out promptlyand was delicious. The Caesar salad (with anchovies) was fabulous-fresh, crisp lettuces and just the right tangy dressing. I hada seared piece of fish that was very nice. My date had a petite filet and was very pleased. I would definitely consider goingback but try another night of the week. Read more
The steak is 10/10!!! Salmon is great too but I would recommend steak more. (I mean it’s steakhouse). Spinach and mushroom is... way too salty :( I wish I could tell them and ask them to redo it again but anyway it’s still great overall Btw the waiter isso polite and nice???????????? they explains the menu detailed!! This is one of those places that speaks for itself. The steaks are fantastic. We went for an anniversary. The staff decorated... the table with fresh rose petals, a candle, and they all signed a happy anniversary card. Best experience. Read more
