What a (somewhat hidden) gem! I came in with my mother on a late afternoon Monday for late lunch / early dinner and was so... pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere. They are family-owned and have wonderful friendly, home-like service. The food isamazing, and it was such a treat to notice your order being made fresh! We had the Smoked Fish Spread for starters - a Mahifish spread with veggie sticks and excellent ciabatta crostini - Fish Stew and Garden Salad (delicious), and - the star of theshow that will keep bringing us back - the most phenomenal Devon's Lump Crab Cake!! The Maryland jumbo lump crab was made freshright then and there - no filler - and it was hands-down the best Crab Cakes we've had the pleasure of enjoying for years. It'sa bit hard to find in a small plaza off Tamiami Trail, but I highly recommend a visit for a fresh, intimate meal for anyoccasion. Read more

I had the fisherman?s stew and the triple tail with potatoes and corn. All I can say is YUM! The fish - cooked barely blackened... - was seasoned to perfection. And the corn was so fresh! Okay. So I found this place on a google search. I wanted good seafood on this trip and this little place delivers ! My appetizer... was 1/2 dozen Oysters on the Half Shell- wonderful! Fresh and refreshing. Boyfriend got the peel and eat shrimp ( loaded) andthe Lobster Bisque- OMG! So good! For dinner I did the Red Snapper and he got the Amber Jack. The fish was perfectly cooked.The side of Green beans we perfect! ?. Only thing missing was the oceanfront. This is a hidden gem! We had lunch here today, and what a great lunch it was. All the fish was cooked perfectly, clam chowder with lots of flavor,... crab BLT, fish tacos, and the fish spread on bread imported from Massachusetts was amazing. The crab cake was fantastic. Typically I do not prefer a crab cake at restaurants. This one contains no fillers and has... deliciously fresh crab. Simple, cooked elegantly and served with a dipping sauce and lemon wedge. Hands down, best crab cakeI?ve ever had. I?m sure their other dishes are done just as well.
