Ok so?. This place is absolutely wonderful! I spent about 4 hours here working on an art project! The seating is so comfortable... and the overall aesthetic of the place is exquisite. They have a handful of private rooms, no reservation needed. As far as theproducts go: 1. The hot and cold teas are delicious! I enjoy mine hot, but they all have a brilliant and rich flavor. Thepricing is reasonable. 2. The mini cakes are OUTSTANDING. It is the perfect pairing for a hot tea. 3. The bubble tea is bad :(I?m not sure if they know that tapioca pearls go bad after four hours. The four stars is for that. I would recommend going withthe popping pearls if you are interested in the bubble tea here. Funky Fresh Boba in Nokomis is the best! This establishment istop tier! I highly recommend paying a visit. For real, go check it out! And they are open until 10! Its a great place to study,hang with friends, or go on a date. Read more
TLDR: private rooms and tea variety were wonderfully refreshing. The cookies praline cake was the best! Delicious and so fun!... Their private rooms offer a relaxing spot to unwind and drink from a variety of teas. We ordered hot, steeped tea as well asbubble tea. The bubble tea is a bit sweet, but is good nonetheless. What a gem! This place is adorable. Great place to go alone or with a group. My wife has celiac and we were concerned about that... darn wheat in the tea. Well, the owner brought out the book from the supplier and according to their site none of their teashave gluten. This meant my wife could enjoy nearly every drink on the menu. Having tea at Elixir was a lovely experience. The teas were delicious, and Priyanka was very nice. My daughter especially... enjoyed her bubble tea. Our sandwiches and salad were tasty and satisfying. All the food was very fresh. The desserts weredecadent, except the sugar free dessert my daughter ordered. It tasted better than I expected for sugar free. I was pleasantlysurprised. I loved the beach room. It is beautiful and tranquil. We got a peek at the music-themed room and it is so cool! We are musicians, so of course we appreciated that. I would highly recommend for a relaxing, quiet dining experience. Elixir tea house is simply put, superb. From the atmosphere, vast selection of teas, service, and the different themed rooms... (all extremely charming, intriguing, intricate, & welcoming in their own way). It feels like a home away from home because it?sprivate, possesses a calm yet electric environment, & it doesn?t feel like they want you just to purchase a drink andleave. The staff are all really kind, sweet, & attentive but not in an overbearing American way. They all have so much charm,flair, and style that it?s hard not to keep coming back.
