We have been to this restaurant maybe 10 times and have never been disappointed. This visit 8/6/22 was the best of all so far. ... Sat on the outside patio, nice breeze. Our server, Trei, was attentive but not overly so, which we prefer. Food (see photos)was exceptional and well presented. Steak tare tare, wedge salad, swordfish and linguine with shrimp and bacon. We celebrated my husbands birthday last night at Element. Everything was fantastic and everyone made him feel so special. We had... a 9pm reservation and never felt rushed at all. The food and drinks were outstanding. Our waiter, George, was so friendly andhelpful! My husband does not drink alcohol, and he said the mocktails made for him were very good! The environment was beautifuland relaxed. You can tell they really take pride in their establishment and making sure their customers feel welcome andcomfortable. There was a VERY loud party in the next room celebrating a birthday which sounded more like a group partying at aclub at times, but this is no fault of the restaurant and I doubt regular dining experiences would have that level of noise.Overall we were super impressed and can’t wait to come back! My beautiful wife and I had our regular date night dinner at this very nice restaurant. We had a wonderful server named Conner... that was very pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. we had two appetizers, the bacon kabobs and the scallop plate. Althoughthe portion sizes are small , we enjoyed both . We decided to split the halibut and it was delicious. Cooked to perfection. Avery enjoyable experience. Professional staff, beautiful inside, great dinner. Read more

This spring I had a chance to stop by Element in beautiful downtown Sarasota for an early dinner before catching a performance... at the Van Wez' with my father. In a sentence, Element delivers incredible food presented in a sophisticated way at an exquisitevenue with extraordinary staff to assure you an impeccable dining experience. My father and I reserved a 4:30PM dinner toensure ample time to get to our performance we were attending. The restaurant was slow at first, but after 5:00PM things got alot busier, and this was midweek. I am sure on the weekends it's a good idea to ensure a reservation, as I imagine the placewould be quite busy. Of note, you'll need to try to find street parking or take advantage of any of the convenient parkinggarages located around the Sarasota downtown. Having used these for years, they're safe as is walking around the city. We werepromptly seated and provided beverages. It took a few moments to receive some bread, and wow was that worth it. Sumptuous andsoft with flaky crust, it was challenging to limit ourselves to reserve room for our meal! My father ordered the shrimpcocktail as an appetizer and baked halibut. I went with the coconut curry mussles and black garlic and squid ink linguini. Theappetizers were ready within about 20 minutes of arrival. I thought that reasonable considering we were seated right as therestaurant opened. The appetizers were delicious. The shrimp with the cocktail were some of the largest I ever seen, and thesauce was brimming with flavor - all very fresh. The mussles were a treat. There must have been 30+ of them in a silky sweetcurry sauce that paired well with the seafood. In reality, the appetizers were so substantial, I think they could be easilyshared by 2 people with no problem. Our entrees arrived about 10 minutes after we had finished our appetizers. Once again, theplating and presentation were commendable. My father exclaimed that his entree was one of the best dishes of his life. Read more

Called in advanced, made reservations, and had a great time. I sat outside with my spouse and we had a superb time - good... music, good staff, and great food. We had a Chef’s special Mahi Mahi with Mango sauce and a Swordfish with polenta. Myfavorite was the swordfish - it was packed with flavor, juicy, and well textured. For drinks we had a couple of theirspecialties that give name to their “element theme”. They also have a full menu of wine and provide whiskey, bourbons, andthe likes. For dessert we had a Banana Crème Brûlée - it was good though nothing mind blowing. The crème had a small bananaflavor and the “brûlée” wasn’t fully done but it was a nice dessert nonetheless. I do see myself coming back andthoroughly enjoyed my experience. Read more

I was really looking forward to this experience but due to valentines day, they had a valentines day menu so my review is based... out of that menu. We had the bone marrow small plate which based on promotional pics on the website, it would be a must try!Well it was nothing but a bad experience. I've never had such an unfunctional dish... the amount of bone marrow served was lessthan a tea spoon of it. The worst part was the overwhelming amount of grease in that plate. On top of it, the dish was servedwith butter oil that was flavorless. Besides that, we had the short rib pasta which was okay. The meat was cooked to perfectionbut the pasta lacked taste it was blend and confusing. As side dishes, we had the truffle mushrooms which were cooked perfectlybut lacked the truffle flavor, and the gratin potatoes which the cheeses chosen were very good but the potatoes itself neededsalt to fuse all the flavors together. Overall the place was very gorgeous and the staff where amazing. To me, this is a placemostly to grab cocktails in the lounge and not really dine in. Would I come back and try their regular menu ? For the price, probably not. Read more

Had a Happy Thanksgiving. Delicious food, great service. Disappointed that we were seated in the sun. Requested a seat in the... shade but were informed that the table we were seated at was the only one available. It's Thanksgiving and we had made a latereservation so we were okay with the seat because the other seats were reserved. But we ate our whole meal and no one else cameto sit at the shaded tables. Why? Why not let us sit in shaded table as we requested. And for Thanksgiving why wouldn't someonewho works in hospitality be hospital. Why? But our server, busser and food were excellent. Read more
