Not good food, bought the family meal, so was able to try a lot of things. Also, they didn't put any utensils in the to-go bag... so when we got to the beach, had to leave to get forks and napkins. Won't be back. Read more
This was quite literally the worst experience I?ve ever had for Chinese takeout. Got our order wrong, and the food that WAS sent... was very clearly leftovers from lunch that had been sitting in a heat window all day. Crab Rangoon was soggy and stale, as werethe egg rolls. Ordered General Tso chicken, orange chicken, fried rice, 3 egg rolls, and some crab Rangoon at 6pm. The order took 55 minutes... and once we opened the food we realized they had messed up the order and gave us food we are 99% sure was under a heat lamp allday. Instead of tso and orange they gave us 2 orange and white rice, the chicken was chewy and disgusting, the egg rolls werepartially cold/chewy/extremely hard, and the crab Rangoon was God awful with soft/chewy exterior and what tasted like coldwalmart crab salad inside. This was a God awful experience for my tastebuds. Judging from the other reviews this place recentlywent down hill hard and I strongly advise against coming here. Jade Garden is a much better experience all around but sadly theywere closed and we had to suffer through this "food". If I could give 0 stars I would. Read more
We buy a fair amount of Chinese food,our usual place was closed and we were forced to venture out of our comfort zone.One of the... main things i order in bulk is Hot Sour Soup amongst other things,boy was i in for a bad surprise,it looked and tasted like theythrew in all the left overs from 4 different dishes and so sickly sweet we had to throw it all away nobody could eat it andtraditionally it is a very simple dish,we will never try them a again a large soup is expensive,thumbs down. I need to give a shout out to this place! We got off work late and was looking for a chinese restaurant that open after 8 or... 9pm. We came in, the lady assisted us right away, we ordered Orange Chicken, Beef Mixed Vegetable, Hot and Sour soup, and Eggdrop soup. They were all yummy!!! I would recommend this place to my friends! Food is well above the usual fare of Chinese food in Sarasota, never too much salt or grease and excellent flavor balance and... portion size is generous. I also recommend the lunch specials and sushi rolls. Very good place. Read more
