The service is horrible and does not qualify for the high American standard. The European manager lady is absolutely rude. When... we asked to sit inside because it was too windy outside, she almost threw our dishes on the new table without saying a word.Absolutely unpleasant. At that moment, we wanted to leave, but since we ordered already, we decided to actually eat. Regret notleaving after all. Not returning. This horrible service does not match the beautiful vibe of Sarasota. Please move elsewhere,rude people! Read more

Super disappointing. Their service is consistently terrible and roaches are "normal." There was a group of us having dinner,... when all of the sudden a cockroach was crawling down the middle of our table. We don't know where it came from but we'reassuming the bread basket. The server immediately sent the manager over and the only thing he said was, "Well this is Floridaand they come in through the open door. It's normal, even though we just sprayed." Not even 20 minutes later, another roach wascrawling up the wall next to the pizza oven. Two staff members behind the bar watched it without doing anything. I'm not quitesure when it became "normal" to see bugs of any sort inside a fine dining restaurant as I've never seen anything like thathappen in my life... but nothing was offered, not even an apology from management. If there was zero stars I would do that. Let?s start with the service? there is no service. The staff was borderline annoyed... that we were even there. I mean, we?re paying $7 for tiny side of potatoes! At least bring us waters when we sit. We did sitoutside because it?s impossible to sit inside, talk about that later. It wasn?t even busy. No excuses. I walked in to find abathroom and staff is just standing around. Wine came with a bug in it, replaced it with cork pieces in it. The food wasmediocre. All pre made, prepackaged. Nothing is fresh, except maybe the salad. I don?t even know what rush to start with. Noneof it was good. Inside there is a leak in the ceiling and I do believe there was a leak the last time we wanted to eat there butit smelled too bad inside so we changed our minds. Yes, it stinks inside! The bathroom is my biggest complaint here. I took myson to the boys bathroom, I could not be in there. There is no AC and the smell is so bad my eyes literally stung! My son got abloody nose!!!!!!! I mean, please someone - clean that bathroom and get some air in there. It?s revolting. I?ve never had aworse experience in Sarasota restaurants. I do not recommend. White table cloth, silverware in white napkins, wine glasses...excellent sidewalk setting. Were we in SPAIN or Italy? No.... Downtown Sarasota. The pasta with red sauce & clams was fair. Other dishes flavourful well presented. Good attention by servers. Read more

Typically when I see a restaurant has so many options, I get a little scared for the quality of food, but this was not the case... here! I did not have one bad dish here. I highly recommend getting some cheese as a starter and it goes very well with the breadthat is served in the beginning too. I was slightly thrown off by the bleu cheese in the quattro frommagi pasta, but I didn?thate it. Overall, a nice place to get dinner with tons of outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. A great location in downtown Sarasota! Met a friend here cuz it?s his goto spot. I arrived a bit early and got seated outside... along the front and then waited! Noooobody came by to offer me anything! I had to reach out to a couple of servers chattingamongst themselves to draw attention to the fact I wanted a beverage before my friend arrived. Afterwards the service by Manuel,who knew my friend, was good. We split some French fries to go with our drinks as a starter. The food was good but not great. Ihad the Mediterranean Sea bass. Italian restaurants are not my favorite, but can't deny I had a great time here. The staff is awesome. The food was delicious,... even the spinach sauté was a little salty I do understand it happens. Completely ok. The environment is excellent. I reallyenjoyed my stay. Read more

This lovely downtown cafe has great sidewalk seating and nice indoor decor. The Chicken Parmesan with pasta was excellent. So... was the Caprese Salad. The Bloody Mary was delicious. Our server Bill was super nice and provided excellent service. Thelocation on Mainstreet is close to lots of nice shops. We highly recommend ???? Read more
