We had a vegetable pot pie and the air fried chicken and waffles. I thought the pot pies looked small in the pictures but they... were actually perfect for one person. The pot pie crusts were wonderful and the vegetables were perfectly seasoned. It reallytasted like a hearty pot pie. No unusual stuff going on which was great. I love pot pies and this was truly great. The chickenand waffles was also great. FYI: the sign is a little tough to see. It is in the space to the left of The Culinary Space whichhas a large sign. These pot pies are delicious and jist as expected. Perfectly browned crust was a delight in itself. I had the Beef Burgundy Pie... and was thoroughly satisfied. Just the right amount of beef and thay burgundy sauce was heavenly! So glad i found this place. Read more
The Shepard's was filled with seasoned ground lamb, corn, carrots and other vegetables. Delivered in a single-serve pie tin... lined with a pastry crust and topped with lightly seasoned mashed potatoes. The beef pot pie was similarly served, except with apie crust top. The beef and vegetables were seasoned similar to a well done beef bourguignon, including a light aroma of darkred wine. Both meals are more than adequate for a single adult with an average appetite. DELICIOUS!!! Comfort food like grandma used to make it - flaky crust, flavorful filling and plenty of beef and lamb in the pies... we had. I could not finish mine, so I would say a great main course when you want to enjoy wholesome goodness without heatingup your oven. The key lime pie had to wait till the next day, but was a very enjoyable, refreshing take on the local favorite. We'll be back to try the other pies, quiches, desserts, etc. Read more
Ordered a couple items from Bootsy's for myself and my family to try. My father tried the chicken pot pie and LOVED it. Said the... size was HUGE and that it was tasty with a perfectly flakey crust. We also tried the caprese salad with the homemade mozzarellawhich was great. The cheese was soft and you could tell it was quality. We also tried the gnocchi mac n cheese which was a HUGEhit! Everyone loved it and we continue to order it again and again! For dessert we tried the key lime pie which is more tartthan the usual key lime pie but we prefer it that way. The pies look beautiful. The size and crust were perfect. The inside however was hugely disappointing. About half as much... filling as we were expecting. The flavor was equally a bummer. The chicken was better than the beef though. Very small, overcooked beef pieces. A once and done for us! Read more
