I don't even know if I can speak words that would be good enough for their spinach bagel BLT sandwich it was the best damn BLT I... have ever eaten in my entire life. if I could eat that several times a week I would but it is unfortunate that I live very faraway to go get a sandwich but it will be my place to go anytime that I am in that area. that day I also ordered grilled chickensandwiches on bagels and the person who I purchase that one for he said that it was amazing I don't know how he tasted itbecause it was gone within minutes and this was a huge chicken breast on a bagel I understand now why when I got there at 11:30in the afternoon they only had five types of bagels left I should have known something then they're fantastic I believe thisplace is family ran and it is what I would consider like a hole in the wall. The only downside here? They close too early for me. I like to eat later. The lady behind the counter was definitely from... Brooklyn, the accent, the attitude, the sense of humor. Love it. My stereotypical corned beef on rye was terrific, lightlygrilled, juicy, very tasty. I am someone that eats out several times a week, and breakfast is one of my favorite meals. During my trip to NYC & Brooklyn... for two weeks, I had the opportunity to try several breakfast locations and ate many bagels. I have to be honest; I couldn'twait to get back to Sarasota to enjoy my favorite bagel at Brooklyn Bagel & Deli. Sure they don't use NY water or boil them,but they are my favorite bagels.
