My Mom and Dad came to visit from South Florida, I'm new to the area myself so my dad tasked me with finding some outstanding... BBQ. J Rodgers was suggested to me from multiple people and after we went, we saw why! We arrived shortly after open and we'regreeted by the very friendly staff. They make you feel right at home and service was never lacking. Now the food, I couldn't saywhat was my favorite because EVERYTHING tasted great! My mom has always been a light eater as long as I can remember and notmuch of a BBQ person, I couldn't believe how much she ate from the buffet, and my dad, after being silent for most of the timebecause he was zeroed in on his food, told me I did darn good on my choice of where to eat. Big thanks to J Rodgers and staff,outstanding customer service, atmosphere and of course food made this one of my best dining experiences In years. 10 outta 5stars Read more
Stopped by for the first time and was very happy I did very friendly staff and the food was good too . The buffet was a little... pricey for the lack of selection on it. I'll definitely go back and try a bbq sandwich next time. Read more
Stopped by here on a roadtrip, family was starving and were wanting to stop at the first place we saw which ended up being J... Rodgers. There was a pretty good selection at the buffet, the ribs being my favorite. The staff made sure to keep the buffetfully loaded and were very attentive when it came to our drinks. The food here was delicious?many of the options were what I expected southern soul food cooked from home to be and to taste... like. What I liked most of all is that the Waiters/Waitresses were friendly and they enforced their policies regarding COVIDsuch as requiring a mask to enter and to wear their plastic gloves to handle their clamps at the self-serve trays.
