Reviews for Junction 52 Bar & Grill in Santee, CA
Came here on a Sunday morning to watch football. Yes they have NFL Sunday ticket. Plenty of TVs. Brunch menu was big. Lots to... choose from. Food was delicious! Full bar so plenty of drinks to choose from. Not too crowded or loud, which was nice. Ourwaitress was very but not too attentive. Very professional. Reasonable food and drink prices. Very satisfied with my experiencehere and would definitely return. Read more
Been here a couple of times now. Pretty consistent overall between visits. Has the vibe of a local place rather than a chain... restaurant which I enjoy. We usually run into people we know or families from our kids school which adds to the local vibe. Goodfood for decent prices. Great place to go and watch a game on Sundays. Read more
The food is excellent! The outdoor seating area is surrounded by tvs and cooled by shades which was perfect for us and our... service dog. Read more
Not great service. Appetizer, soup and entree all arrived within minutes of each b other. The soup was good but the prime... rib bites only fair, dry and tough without a lot of flavor. They are definitely not worth the $21! Read more
Every single time I’ve ordered food (either dine-in or carry-out) it’s never been prepared correctly. Components missing,... meat cooked to an incorrect temperature (everything is WELL DONE, zero taste in the meat). And when ordered through Grubhub thepacking wasn’t secured correctly so the food went all over the bag. It’s hard to eat dried pasta stuck to a paper bag. Read more
A favorite to both Santee locals and diners throughout San Diego, Junction 52 easily ranks high in my favorite eateries in all... of East County. Don’t let their compact menu fool you. Junction 52 has something for everyone, of any food preference. I’ddescribe their menu items to be mainly a Tex-Mex style cuisine—including very generously sized entrees of tacos, soups, salads, and classic Mexican/American cuisine. Junction 52 also boasts of a full-sized, fully stocked, double sided bar, withstools usually filled with sport spectators who typically choose to congregate and watch the game on the many flat screen tv’sthe pepper every angle and viewpoint in both the indoor and outdoor eating areas. Junction 52 is located on the corner of theVons shopping annex and so patrons benefit from the very ample parking spaces available. Keep in mind that having plentifulparking, an exemplary menu, and wonderful ambiance does make Junction 52 the place to be the majority of the time, so it can bequite crowded with people. However, having to wait a bit to be seated never reflected in the quality of the service provided tome, or, the wait time to that I was served. Read more
For lunch, I had the alfredo with chicken, and my husband had a hot pastrami sandwich. We each got a side of fried zucchini and... a sodapop. Our menu came to $50.91. For the amount of food, flavor, temperature, staff and overall ambiance, I believe a 4 staris appropriate. Read more
The best quality food I've had in a bar. Got the Diablo Steak sandwich, Shrimp Taco, Carne Asada Taco, and the Zucchini Chips.... The steak sandwich had a fair amount of lean, tender, no gristle or fat steak, and a good amount of cheese, mushrooms, andjalapenos. The jalapenos had a great flavor and just enough heat to take the sandwich to excellent. The roll was fresh, crispyon the outside and chewy fluffy on the inside. I highly recommend this sandwich, which was recommended by our server Theresa. The Shrimp Taco was tasty, but only had 3 medium sized shrimp. So instead, we'll try the Adobado Taco next time. The Carne AsadaTaco was tasty with a fair amount of tender steak. The Zucchini Chips were lightly breaded, seasoned and fried to perfection. They were not mushy inside or rubbery like at other restaurants. The excellent service, and TVs tuned to sports mounted onevery wall made it a very enjoyable lunch. Read more
