My granddaughter had seen a puppet here that she wanted for her birthday. My son took me to that store to purchase it but they... didn't have any. The helpful cashier found out that Santee had four so we went to that store. Read more

Took my two daughters in for the first time and they were in awe. My 8 year old found chapter books that are perfect for her... reading level. My 4 year old found a great Halloween theme book which she has us read all day long. They have a wonderfulsection of puzzles and games. Lots of Harry Potter stuff and even some Ghibli stuff which I don't see too often. They have agreat kids section and even toys. We'll be back more often for sure. Read more

Books good prices fair, what was not good was the lack of customer service. The girl with the long black hair and glasses was... actually quite rude. I made a reasonable purchase and, she made some snippy, sarcastic comments, that were totally unwarrantedand totally unnecessary. If I'm buying something and I have a reasonable request, don't be rude and condescending. Managementneeds to take a closer look at who they hire, I know companies are desperate to hire and keep employees, but it seems like thequality of customer service has taken a dive due to the current 'crisis" Bottom line, if you want to keep good customersreturning be friendlier and drop the attitude. Lindsey was super helpful at the Santee branch. It was nice to meet someone who works at book store and also has a passion for... books. I've been shopping for an electronic reader for a while and she answered all of my questions. I'm always on the hunt fora new book and new genres and she spent the time to walk me through the store and check out new selections. It was the personaltouch of the shopping experience that ultimately guided my decision in getting the Nook Glowlight Plus vs. the Kindle Oasis. Ihope this review gets back to Lindsey somehow so she knows that her going the extra mile not only got me to purchase the Nook,but got me excited to read again. I'm looking forward to finishing up my current library and starting on some of hersuggestions. Read more
