Not a lot of seafood options at seaside beach but this was a safe bet and convenient! The food was good but not great for the... price and not many gluten free options which is fine for most people I'm sure but be aware if you have celiac disease like myhusband. Service was fine but not exceptional and the atmosphere is just okay. Steamboat promotes itself as unfussy and that'svery apt self description. Key takeaways; good but not great for the price, not a lot of non fried food, bland and unfussyatmosphere. Read more

Alex was a great waitress! The food was okay. nothing special. It was better than Kenny D's in Destin (which we ate the night... before). I feel these places are all over priced for what you actually get. My cheeseburger was good though. Even came with aside of Mayo which I had wanted but didn't ask for. No wait so that was nice. Good service. Food was pretty standard. Theetouffee dish was hot and flavorful but no garlic bread to my recollection. Read more

Came here for dinner on the first day of honeymoon. We were seated immediately, and we got some drinks. Everyone on the staff... and all the customers were such nice people! We had a great time and really enjoyed the clay, yet unstuffy atmosphere. We gotthe Cobia, which was cooked perfectly, with hearty potatoes and green beans, and we got some sushi, salmon sashimi and a spicytuna roll. Both were better than I expected! Can't wait to come back next time we're on vacation! Read more

Amazing. Why this place wasn't packed is beyond me. Bo, our server was great, kept us in tea and water and on his recommendation... got an off menu grouper steamer plate. Our party also got a fish and chips (best we ever had) and a perfectly made grilledcheese. Note that it is a little pricy but well worth it. AND the best thing? 3 sets of locals came in while we were there. Iflocals are eating there that's the best review you can get. Read more

Pretty much everything we ordered was good. The seafood gumbo really stood out for me. I've had alot of gumbo and this was the... right amount of seafood and spice. Shrimp was good as was the blackend red fish. Lots of TVs. So also a great spot to watch thegame. Didn't take any photos this time. Sorry! Read more

So good! The gumbo was amazing. One of my favorites. Not a dark roué. The bacon wrapped jalapeño shrimp was to die for. Great... food friendly staff! Read more

Food here tastes really good. The only problem is that they're not really set up to serve a seafood steamer- no scissors to cut... the crab legs, no wipes for afterward. Just a shell cracker and a bucket. We ordered a meal that cost $89.99, and had littlemeans of extracting the crab meat. Other than that, pretty good. Server and hostess were both great. Read more
