Visiting the 30A area for the first time, we took the advice and recommendations of locals and regular visitors to dine at this... Brewpub. We were not disappointed in any way, shape, or form. It was a short distance drive from our AirBnB, although thedowntown area was bustling at dinnertime so the drive was extended by 8 minutes. It was very entertaining to see all the kidsand families walking around. Upon arrival, parking was easy in the gravel lot and we were greeted by fellow guests who knew usfrom our vacation community. Great family feel here! We were seated immediately by a very friendly staff and Harold, ourserver, was extremely attentive and a great conversationalist. He had great insights about the menu and beer selections. Thefood menu was great...not too long or short. Kids selections were great too. The atmosphere inside is extremely modern with atouch of rustic pub. Clean, well kept, and professional staff. Our food was plated extremely well for a brewpub and the food wasfresh, tasty, and serving size was healthy. We could easily of shared. I had a burger, pasta for the kids, and a PoBoy for thewife. Stopped in for a couple flights and ended up also getting the pretzels. Have had their beer in cans before so we got two flights... and enjoyed most of them. The pretzels though are worth it! The right amount of butter and salt and the beer cheese wasfantastic. We ate them so quickly I didn't get a picture. ETA: Looks like it changed owners as its name changed. We stopped inagain, this time with the kids, and it seems prices have risen. I had the seafood gumbo and a side of Mac and cheese - both weregreat! Happy hour beer prices were good. Kid meals don't come with a drink and for 10 bucks, they should. 4/5 of my family hadfries and one out of every 10 had an odd dirt like taste. Not a deal breaker but definitely off.
