Ordered a breakfast burrito for $13, it was mostly tortilla and french fries and overly salted ham. The owner was a bit strange... and was insisting I tip for a takeout, I entered okay and I guess it bypassed the tip function and she then stated "no tip?! OhI see...." At that point I wasn't about to state it was actually a mistake with that attitude. Read more
VERY GOOD! Since LA Plaza Retired, I've had several dried out burritos. I don't eat burritos often but when I do I want a... culinary experience. My hubby's carnitas, super burrito was delish! My grilled chicken was equally good. The rice perfect, therefried beans, excellent. I will forever miss the big chunks of succulent chicken and sauted onions and peppers. Best Mexican food in town, hands down. Three tacos is enough to fill even a grown man, and their burritos are amazing. Order... your meal "spicy" for an extra kick. Las Palmas has doubled their prices in the past two years...which is a huge bummer. Threetacos or a burrito will set you back $15-16 after tip and tax. Meals used to be $10. Read more
