If you find your self in or near Santa Paula/Ventura, Yokozuna Sushi is a good place to eat at. A must go to location in my book... but let me explain. First, California roll are out of the park, no, Out of this world levels of awesome, Teriyaki chicken isvery delicious, it has the right consistency of Teriyaki sauce and chicken that will make you feel like you're in heaven, thetaste and texture Fried rice felt luxurious, Even the soup was decent, and this is good because I don't even like soup! it is a good restaurant staff are all very sweet and the sushi is great just not a big fan of the chefs choice sushi.

I ordered 2 item bento grilled fish and spicy tuna roll. Miso soup was quite palatable, the grilled fish delectable. Mom ordered... teriyaki chicken a la carte. Both plates were well portioned. Oh and our green tea, we were expecting small 4 Oz cups. The teawas served in a 16 Oz mugs, savory, warm and aromatic. The waitresses were sweet and attentive wearing face masks, they werenot frequently asking if we were ok or needed anything. Unlike other restaurants waitresses constantly ask how one is doing thatone cannot enjoy the food or company, here it was different. Tried sushi here for the first time and I was not a fan of sushi, but once I tried it it was AMAZING the texture and flavors... were unbelieveable and prices are good. I highly reccomend this place. The staff was very polite on helping me pick somethingtasteful for the first time. Read more
