11/10 would recommend this location if you?re in the area! The staff was so polite and accommodating while I waited for a large... order (12 orders with all types of dietary restrictions) and not only did they have the food ready when I arrived (8 min drivefrom the location of our shoot for a film) but separated them accordingly. Staff was a little off when I went to order I would like to think it was a new employee. Trying to sell me the teriyaki sauce... and Sriracha in a small cup instead of giving me the ones they have in little packets that are free. ??????? I also upgraded tothe salad and fruit and it's not worth it. DON'T DO IT! All they added was green salad which was bitter and half a orange thatlooked like it was cut the day before and I had to throw away. My husband got the veggies and they were a little hard but theywere better than the salad. Read more
Got the chicken and steak family meal, looked like a little bit of food but ended up being enough for two adults a teen and a... kiddo. Chicken was dry, but the rest was ok. Read more
I'd love to give more stars but our experience the last 2 years has been so... wishy washy. From not making our order when... expected, wrong sauce, wrong rice, missing items, an uptick of prices with a smaller quantity offered (but not explained), badcustomer service (curse words used, not focus on the customer, etc). I love supporting local businesses but they have to bringthe quality that's presented to get high ratings. Read more
The ambiance and the food at the Waba Grill is amazing. the owner proprietor of this Waba Grill location is very personable and... goes to great Lengths to know you. The staff is very polite and courteous and the restroom is very clean. The decor and theambiance allows for a family atmosphere or just a place for a quick bite. There is plenty of room for friends and familytogether and share moments of laughter while enjoying a great meal. A great addition to Santa Paula community. Read more
1st time visitor. My wife and I stopped in for lunch; we knew it had recently opened and wanted to try it out (we'd never been... to a Waba Grill.) First impression was good. It's new so everything was clean. Parking lot was clean although a little confusingas you turn off the street (there's a ton of parking in the rear.) We ordered our meals and waited for them to be prepared. Mywife ordered the chicken vegetable bowl and I ordered the Waba rice bowl. They got my order wrong - they gave me a Wabavegetable instead. No big deal, it came with veggies. One thing I wasn't a fan of was the sauce they drizzle on the food. It's asoy sauce glaze and I'm not a big soy sauce fan - they should ask if you want it on the food or as a side. My wife noticed thatthe only utensils they had were plastic forks but that the veggies eere big enough where she would have like a fork to cut themup. We both wondered what the kid's meals would be like if the veggies were too big. The food itself was really fresh, thecarrots, broccoli and cabbage crunchy. Both the chicken and steak were lean. The staff was friendly in the beginning and they they flipped out on me because I said and I quote "what the fudge" when I found... out they didnt have a bathroom. I was banned from going for no apparent reason. Would not recommend. Read more
