There is only one reason for one less star and we will get to that later! This place was suggested by my business partner's wife... and what a treat it was. I had lived in Italy for years and know italian food very well. They advertise italian pasta importeddaily which was puzzling to me as we can get imported pasta and flour here as I do making my own pasta. I found that thedifference is the real eggs than we can't get here. I had spaghetti alla carbonara which was very close to what I have had inRome. My business partner had the lasagna which was also great. I ordered a bottle of Barbaresco to go with it. The only reasonI gave this place 4 instead of 5 stars is the Tiramisu for desert! It wasn't even close to the authentic one I have loved andmake! It was vanilla pudding with chocolate sauce! I have no idea where they got the idea as everything else was so authenticand beautiful. I'll go back when in town again but no tiramisu! Read more

Had the best time at Uovo! I sat on the beautiful patio, and my server walked me through the menu, and answered all my... questions! Service was quick, attentive, and so friendly. And the food was delicious! Noodles had a perfect texture, the saucewas delicate and well crafted. Would definitely recommend stopping in for pasta if you're in the area. Read more

Pasta tasting at @uovopasta ???????? This place imports their handmade pasta from Italy every night and I could taste the... freshness in each of the dishes. Their kitchen also has an open kitchen layout and you can watch the chefs in action live???? ????Ordered: Cheese & Truffle Tasting Menu: 1. Yellowtail Crudo 2. Tagliatelle in truffle sauce 3. Pomodoro 4. Cacio ePepe 5. Tiramisu Al cucchiaio Each of the noodles were cooked perfectly Al dente and they were soo filling!! My favorite wasdefinitely the truffle one but the Pomodoro also surprised me since I typically don?t love red sauce. The highlight was thedessert because it was the best tiramisu I?ve had :o ????Price: $50/pp Read more

Absolutely delicious pasta matched ny excellent service all the way around. I had the Pomodoro and I actually finished... everything on my plate. Something I am not normally able to do. This is a testament to how incredible the pasta was. Read more

Go to colapasta instead on 5th St which got a Michelin bib in 2022, for half the price and better pasta. The ragu had no bite at... all and was sitting in too much pasta water. The brodo themselves were nice but the broth tasted like watered down matzo ballsoup. The lasagna was mushy and lacked flavor, the most of any lasagna I've ever ordered. The cacio e pepe may be how they do itin Rome, but it's over seasoned, overcooked, and oversalted to our party. The 'tiramisu' is a JOKE and is 85% cream topped withwhat is basically Hershey's Nutella with half an ounce of coffee and some crumbs from a leftover box of ladyfingers. On top oflackluster service on a weekday night and a fixed 16% tip, I won't come here again. I like Sugarfish and it's price to qualityand expected far better. 1/5 stars. Read more

An absolute must stop if you're visiting Santa Monica. I'm here for work from Seattle and was recommended this place and it did... not disappoint. Not very big but didn't need to be. It smelled amazing the second I walked in. The Carbonara was the creamiestand most amazing I've had, and served to me directly to plate from pan and in quick order. Staff is pleasant as well. Maybeit's a good thing I don't live here because I would gain a ton of weight! Read more

Definitely not worth it, I was super excited about Italian food and trying out a new restaurant? take out order was the only... option if I didn?t want to wait 45 min for dine in.. aside from having to pay 16% for the ?Tip? when I got back to my hotel Inoticed my food came with no bread nor sauces just plain lasagna. Didn?t even look appetizing.. Read more

We got the tasting menu - the classic & cheese and truffle - as well as a few bottles of red wine to complement. Delicious food... and lovely service. The highlight was probably the Pomodoro. The tiramisu and battuta di Carne were a bit disappointing though. Read more
