Açaí bowls are a little tasteless, and extremely tiny, compared to price and other açaí bowls tried in NYC!

one of a few place offer good acai bowl in the area. The highlight of the acai bowl is the bee pollen , that waa sprinkle on top... of everything else , like coconut, granola, fruits, acai smoothie. i like the seasoning of the poach egg, taste even betterwith the pickled onion. I had the chance to visit the hive in March and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The staff were friendly, the service was pretty... quick, and I don?t remember having to pay a lot of money which is always a plus. If I?m ever back in Santa Monica I do plan onmaking a visit back here. Read more

I believe the Hive is known for it's bowls, but this review is based on their avocado toast. I was a bit underwhelmed by the... size of the toast - it was quite a bit smaller than I expected. However it did taste great, especially with the added poachedegg on top. The bowls looked great, which I would have to try the next time I come. The jasmine green tea tasted a but watereddown unfortunately. Overall, the prices were pretty high ($14 for the avocado toast with egg, $5 for a small tea). Read more

This place doesn?t rate as high for me. Smoothies are expensive and a bit mediocre compared to others I?ve had in the area.... Staff is always friendly though and you can count on it for a healthy nourishment. Read more

A really great spot to do work! Very cozy place and we got a free shot with our purchase which made it super worth it - I got a... chai latte too which tasted super good and the place had very good seating and homey ambiance.
