Prices were decent, especially for oysters, in a touristy location. Highly suggest the larger ("salty") ones over the smaller... sweet ones. Oysters tasted fine, but had some minor cleaning issues. Don't get the crab roll, it was disappointing. Read more
Really enjoyed pretty much everything about this spot on the pier. We were all happy with the quality and value of the food, all... reasonably priced for a decent amount of food, especially considering this is a seafood place located on the pier, aka a touristtrap. There was a simple, rustic nautical ambiance with decent views. The ordering system was simple and efficient with littlebuzzers, so you're not relying on an overworked waiter. There was decent shade on the patio. They also had a decent beerselection I would have loved to explore. Cons: small bathrooms and rough, uneven floors, tricky for carrying trays of food. Read more
Great seafood and burger grill right on the pier. Fabulous ambiance, good music, great food! Views of the beach. Outdoor seating... food is not to expensive. Food came quick. Paper straws are not my favorite, but I guess that?s better for the environment?Certainly worth your time if your looking for an inexpensive meal with a view on the pier. Read more
I went to Santa Monica Pier for the day to relax and when I got hungry I had to find a place. This place was super delicious and... filling. For a normal restaurant I was pleasantly surprised by portions, flavor, and quantity. The price wasn't unreasonableeither. I really enjoyed the food here and would definitely recommend anyone try this place if you are hungry. Read more
Great outdoor dining . We visited Santa Monica in December 2021. I had Tiger Shrimp Tacos and my wife and daughter had Fish and... Chips with coleslaw for lunch. Of course they were little expensive but we wouldn?t worry. The sea, the light breeze goingacross the pier with 65F weather, sunny sky were greater than the money we spent. Great taste!!! Oh man, nothing beats eating great food with a cold beer with the sunset hitting your face that's gleaming off the ocean! I had... a great time here! The food is so tasty! After reading all the comments about how good their lobster roll was, I decided to try it and glad that I did! Some people think... it was not worth the price but when you see the amount of lobster they put on it you will be like wow they put the whole lobsteron it! I had the new England style (with mayo) and I will try the Connecticut style next time (with butter). Everything wasgood. The line to order was reasonable at the time of our visit. Maybe a good 30 mins before we reached the order counter. Justworth the wait though. Staff were nice. Very accommodating and attentive to our needs. They served or prepared our orders fast!Don't forget to try their claim chowder, calamari, and of course their fish and chips. They're all good! We will be back soon! Read more
It was convenient and had pretty fast service. No issues, but I should have stuck with basic items, shrimp and fish. I tried... the spicy seafood soup and I found it lacking in flavor but of course taste is subjective so I can't hold that against theestablishment. It did come out hot, temperature wise, and it was spicy like Tabasco sauce. My wife had the shrimp and chips andshared a few with me. They were good. Read more
