If you have self-respect, DO NOT GO THERE! I wish I had read these reviews before going. Now I read the reviews and feels like... they were written by me. The guy who was accepting the orders and preparing the food was seemingly under influence.Unfortunately, I noticed this once I had already paid for my order. It took extremely long to prepare our acai bowls even thoughwe were the only customers - he was so slow that at some point I wasn't even sure whether he was conscious and aware of hissurroundings. When finally picking up our bowls, he said one ingredient was missing because they didn't have it (saying thisafter I had paid for it). There were some other ingredients missing which he probably forgot. The end was even more ridiculous:when we finally got our bowls and were going to sit down and eat in quiet, he kicked us out, saying that the place was closing -even though the place closes at 7 and it was just 4:30ish. Okay so, I usually don?t take the time to write reviews :) especially not bad ones :) but in this case an exception is being... made. My friend and I wanted to get a quick smoothie before our drive home and this place had no line and we decided to go. Theemployee serving us was obviously high and obviously new and there was one other coworker there at the beginning of our trip,but he left pretty quickly. The employee literally could not make our smoothies and it took approximately 20 min for us to getour two smoothies despite being ~the only customers~ when we arrived. At one point he asked us, the literal customers, if hiscoworker was still there.. like what.. One more lady arrived while we were waiting and then since it took so long, she asked fora refund (we did too honestly but he said no and ours were technically being made so we waited it out). I felt so bad for herthough because he hadn?t even started hers and he gave her so much sass and wouldn?t give her the refund. When we finally didreceive our drinks he passed them off with a ?just take your drinks bro? and when we asked which was which, he looked at us andsaid ?one is pink and one is purple? and wouldn?t tell us which drink was which lol. I couldn?t make this up if I tried. Thiswas 3:30pm on Tuesday Nov 22nd so hopefully someone can Uh.. train or otherwise converse with this employee.. if this guy was anew employee then they need to be trained better and also have someone else on staff until the employees can handle being lefton their own. Don?t go here! The bowl tasted fine, but the service and speed are awful. Not only did they mess up orders, they completely... forgot one of ours and when we asked to get a refund for it taking so long (over 45 minutes), they told us it was our fault forcoming in during rush hour?! I came in only to wait about 10 minutes (maybe longer) to even order. There was only 1 young man working today. Despite the fact... that he had to run the store on his own he was calm, professional and efficient. Whoever owns or oversees this location must dobetter and employ the right staff and give these employees a good managing team. I love Nekter and the vibe it tries to have,but the customer nor employees clearly are not valued. This wait is unacceptable. Do not go here unless you have 40 minutes to burn and ungodly patience. The single employee working (at 1pm on a Sunday) could... care less about your time, taking about 15 minutes per smoothie. I waited 45 minutes for one smoothie because two people orderedahead of me. A group of 7 got in line shortly after I ordered, and after 10 minutes of not being addressed by the worker, theyasked what the deal was and she basically told them it?s gonna take forever to make their smoothies, so they took the hint andleft. Only wish I had done the same. My smoothie ended up being mostly milk. It?s surprising this is still a business really. Read more
I literally used to LOVE this place and come here daily, but I don?t know what the heck happened but their smoothies are... absolutely disgusting now. I got a berry banana smoothie and it tastes like Tar or Gasoline. I took 1 sip and had to instantlythrow it away. This store needs professional staff desperately and people that care about the business. Whoever the managementis needs to just run it themselves because this was a HORRIBLE experience and it?s really sad because like I said I was aregular at Nekter and loved it. Such a great deal for a huge acai bowl! Classic, clean, and super healthy! The Acai Superbowl is a bit much and isn't as... aesthetic since it's grey-green in color. Super healthy though! The Banana Berry is pretty straightforward and simple, but morepalatable. Forgot to take a pic, but you can get a Ginger Shot checking in on Yelp. However, it is STRONG lol definitely wokeup me with the intensity. Be warned! Read more
Awful business hours. What business doesn?t have a standard start time? I?m here for a business trip and went out to get my... entire team of 20 smoothies and this place says it?s open on Google, but I show up and they are closed. Apparently they openwhen they feel like. Good, I?d rather give my money to a business with standards. The equinox across the street was open andserved my entire team great smoothies. Avoid this location if you respect your time. Read more
