The Huckleberry Cafe in Santa Monica has indoor and outdoor seating. We elected the outdoor option. There's a pandemic, after... all. You need to go inside in order to order and pay. Payment in advance is actually convenient since you can just get up andleave at the end of your meal. Other than that, there's normal table service. Our servers and busses were friendly andefficient. I had lox and cream cheese. They call it something else. It's on sourdough bread and is topped with pickled onionsand grilled cherry tomatoes and capers. It's absolutely delicious. My daughter had a breakfast burrito, and everyone else hadthe Huckleberry breakfast, eggs, thick cut bacon and home fries. Everyone enjoyed their meals. There's free parking in theback, and the place is accessible to the handicapped. I recommend the Huckleberry Cafe. Read more

I went here for the first time with my friend last week. We had a lot to eat ! Breakfast burrito (which she loved) , bread and... jam (with butter) , the cold corn salad (delicious!!!! Best item we tried) and their Caesar salad (which was not my favorite). It was very bland because of how they made the dressing. The desert pastries were delicious! She also had coffee and I got a canbeverage. The total with tax and tip was $85. The interior is casual. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you.It looks like a great spot for a casual occasion or to stop in for coffee and morning pastry. It’s a smaller more intimatesetting as the space is not super large. Read more

We were so pleased with the great service and our delicious meal and quality ingredients. We especially loved our mocha coffee... made by barista Rafael. The best mocha we have had in a long time … the perfect combination of chocolate and espresso andsteamed milk. Not to mention the pastries Wow!!!! Read more

With the simple, elegant look from the outside, Huckleberry Cafe could easily be mistaken for an up-scale restaurant rather than... a cafe. When I visited the cafe on a Sunday morning, it was bustling with energy and excitement. I love the vibe. However, Iwas disappointed after my visit. The butter croissant I got wasn't as good as it looked. It was soft, salty, with a powderytexture, lacking crisp layers and butter flavor. The service felt patronizing, and the prices are also on the higher side.Especially for the cafe menu, I was thinking about getting some real food there after a long run, but I couldn't justify paying$17 for what I consider a medium size baguette sandwich or a standard breakfast burrito. So I left with just a croissant, andeven that, I didn't finish. Read more

My go to favorite breakfast spot. Come early if you can, but not too early as they bake and make everything fresh every day so... some items may not be available right away. Every time I visit Santa Monica I always have to make a stop here! Everything isfresh. From their English muffins to blueberry corn cake to eggs, it’s superb! Read more

We came here on a Saturday. There is a parking lot in the back but it’s tight. Anticipate not being able to get in your car... because someone parked so close (happened to us) We entered through the back. You order at the counter, get a number and thensit down. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Servers were nice and accommodating. Food was okay—not nasty but notabsolutely spectacular (with the exception of the quiche which was apparently delicious AF according to my bf) Mimosas were onthe skimpy side for $10 ???????? but who’s counting. We spent $180 with tip for three of us. Two huckleberry breakfasts addchicken Dads Pancakes Quiche Side of Egg whites two sides of steak 4 mimosas 1 ginger beer Read more

We stopped at Huckleberry Cafe on a Monday morning to pick up pastries and drinks. It wasn't too busy but not empty. They have... both indoor and outdoor seating. We got corn bread, gingerbread scone, chocolate croissant, and the farmers market danish. Thecornbread was good but nothing mind blowing. The gingerbread scone was excellent. Really great gingerbread flavor with a nicesweet icing. The chocolate croissant was OK - it wasn't anything special. The farmers market danish was excellent - it hadstrawberries and some kind of white cream. Very crispy and buttery pastry with an excellent filling. We also had a really goodvanilla latte and chai tea latte (the tea has a floral taste to it). This is a good spot to pick up pastries and coffee. Read more
