This is one of our favorite B&R. I was bummed because they had removed all the indoor seating for some time, but it is back, so... you can sit and enjoy your ice cream with friends if you want. This one has great parking in their lot, sort of a strip mall.It is right on Pico Blvd. and easy to find. The service is so wonderful. We are always happy. The employees are super. The icecream is great. They have many flavors, 31 I think, and they now have vegan options. We also love their shakes and floats. Theyhave ice cream cakes right there or you can order a special cake in advance. You will love it. Read more
I ordered a cake here. An hour before pickup, they called to tell me they don?t have that flavor in stock. I asked for a refund... which they said they don?t know how to do. I called 3-4 times asking for my refund and they said they?d call me back every time.They never did. It?s been weeks without a refund for something I literally did not receive. So i order 2 scoops of ice cream in a cup. I pay $6.29 and the clerk tells me they dont have any pennies to give me all of my... change. However the tip jar in front has plenty of pennies. She hands me my change without the penny and just walks away asthough im expected to just let my money go. For christs sake, im paying more than 6 bucks for 2 scoops of ice cream. I stopped by wanting to try the Mangonanda. It?s a frozen mango smoothie like drink with chamoy. It?s was ok, not all that. I... thought since it?s Baskin Robbins, it would be made with their own ice cream in it but it wasn?t. I saw the girl make it andlegit it was like a Mango drink mixture and Ice only then blended. It's nice that this place is open during this weird time. The staff have been very friendly, helpful and patiencent with us... while we decided on the flavor. We've been going now for weeks on end and the service is quick as always. The prices have goneup a bit from when I was a child, however the product is worth it. Our family has enjoyed the multiple flavors with theexception of some of the fat-free flavors. The shakes are rich, creamy and delicious. The scoops are generous and we suggestyou get a waffle cone or a cup with the waffle crisp. Please continue to support this store, they have new employees and duringthis pandemic, all of our patronage to local businesses will keep this city alive. Read more
I would normally give a 5 star rating but the employee must have been having a bad day and showed a little attitude when I asked... for extra malt in my shake and she said she would need to charge extra. I have been going to different locations almost everyother day for years and this was the first time I was asked to pay more. Going to an ice cream shop should be greeted by happyemployees, not one who couldn't crack a smile even if I had paid double! Read more
