My wife and I have always loved our visits to Maria's in the past. When we found out that they were actually open on... Thanksgiving, we made reservations for our family (party of 7). Everyone got what they wanted since they had a traditionalThanksgiving opion and those that wanted, could order from the regular menu. Food was fantastic, service was great and they evenseated us in a semi-private space. An absolutely perfect Thanksgiving vacation dinner. Read more

We were thoroughly disappointed by this place. Food had a freezer burn taste to it and had no seasoning! The service was not... good. After paying almost $90 for the 4 of us with no alcoholic beverages, we left and grabbed fast food later on. PS?Portionswere tiny as well. Read more

If someone really wants to enjoy authentic New Mexican food, they should go to this place!! The place and the service? It's... excellent! Ideal to go to eat with friends, family etc. The food is exquisite and everything is prepared at the moment. Themoment you eat your first serving of food, you feel the authentic taste of New Mexico. Santa Fe has many restaurants, but notwith the touch that the chefs give to each dish. The ingredients are fresh and I can say that when I ate my sopapilla I felthow crispy it was on the outside and soft on the inside. really amazing! Read more

There are a lot of New Mexican places to eat in Santa Fe, and many of the hottest tourist spots will have hours long wait times,... which is insane, and mediocre food. But Maria's has neither of those things. Every time I've been, from a weekday lunch, to aSaturday night dinner, I can get a table relatively quickly (this may be because their building is surprisingly massive). I'vealways had excellent service at each visit. And the food is really good too. I know sopapillas are not the sole reason to visita restaurant, but these are probably my favorite in town. And while you're there, you absolutely must have a drink - and amargarita in particular. That's what they're known for, and for good reason. Read more

This is a good Mexican Restaurant. My entree protein was delicious, but the side items were average. The chips and salsa was... good, as well as the sopapillas, and the customer service was very good. Read more

Was a beautiful evening celebrating my better half! They made his birthday pretty special for us! Thank you y'all! We love the... new addition in the back! Beautiful decorations! Love the outdoor patio, too bad it was full and we couldn't fit! Being next tothe door was the next best thing. Too bad the phone service doesn't really get in the back area tho. Oh well we were there toeat and enjoy but since it was a birthday celebration ???????? we were hoping to post some pictures but had to wait until weleft because the service doesn't get in the back Adobe area. This restaurant has plenty of room! Staff was nice and helpful! Noone was rude and the establishment was clean! All employees were wearing they're protective gear, masks, ECT. The parking is alittle hidden in the back but shaded! They have a nice wide variety of options on the menu! Read more

The staff is friendly and attentive. The ambiance is authentic as I can imagine. The art work, the background music is not... contemporary and classic. I must say that I tried the "Green Chili" here in New Mexico (visiting from California) and the"Green Chili" there is a different concept and preparation. WOW!!! NM Green Chili is bold, spicy when it hit my tastebuds. Starting off with an Appetizer (a cup of Green Chili Stew). Right away, I knew Maria's cuts that tender soft pork pieceswas plentiful. I mean, all over the cup which also had pieces of potato, onion and tomato. The pieces of pork were big incomparison. The main dish was Beef & Been & Cheese smothered in Green Chili sauce (not the same sauce from the Green ChiliStew)..... Both dishes came with complimentary "Fried Bread". I wondered at first when I was seated at the table were a set ofcondiments (sugar, salt & pepper shakers and the odd-man-out - Honey). Well, I thought about that bread in front of me and saidto myself, this. Honey must be for the bread. My server, so attentive mentioned the Fried Bread was complimentary and isusually eaten as a dessert. Messy but delicious....YUM!!!!! Other staff members would swing by my table to ask if I neededanything else. That is great. My needs were fulfilled. In speaking with other staff members, I inquired about Militarydiscount honors. Assured by the many staff members this is the case. I give a 5 stars rating and with 17 Million viewer, Ican't be wrong. Thank you so much for honoring Military and Veterans for your great tasting dishes. Read more

I was dining in with recommendations from a couple of my friends. Foods were great but not necessarily outstanding from other... famous places in SantaFe. Unfortunately, I was disturbed a bit by a couple of things. The parking entrance was very tricky tofind. Also the reception person and server didn?t look happy at all. We didn?t feel any of kindness in their responses to ourquestions about the history of the restaurant or menu, which usually very proudly explained . I would be putting 5 stars for thequality of food but 1 star or less for other things of this place, which is ended up in 3. Overall, I did not feel comfortablehere, worth of revisiting since I have found many other good places. Read more
