Horrible experience all the way around. I went in looking for a simple post lunch snack and picked out a single chocolate peanut... cluster. When the girl told me it would be $8.50, I couldn't help but exclaim, "that's insane" but wanting to support localbusiness, and not being able to find any other chocolate snacks in town, I bought it. Sadly, the chocolate tasted like wax, andthe peanuts were unsalted. It satisfied none of my sweets desires. To add insult to injury, the girl who sold me the cluster wasas bland as the chocolate. Advice: I later learned that the Five and Dime sells chocolate bars. Any Hershey product would putthis place's confections to shame! Just wish I'd read all the bad reviews before throwing away my money. Read more
Sorry; very expensive and not worth another visit. Pricing is not well posted and the chocolate was not good. The fruit bark was... flavorless and stale and the pecan squares had the worse texture and flavor ever. I shared this product with three others in mygroup and the reaction was the same. Shortly after my visit I sent an email via their contact but did not get a reply. I did goback the next morning with the balance of the product for a refund and was offered a 20% refund. This place is a tourist trap asI can't see anyone going back for this chocolate at such a low quality and high price. Read more
The woman who helped us out was very nice but besides that this place was very disappointing. We bought 3 chocolate bars and 4... truffles and since there were no prices, I assumed it was going to be expensive but not $93 expensive! I was hoping this wouldbe fantastic chocolate for how much it cost, but unfortunately it wasn't anywhere close to worth it. Disappointed in Deceptive practices and Price gouging. Paid $17.76 for 2 chocolate pretzels and one 4?x4? chocolate bar.... Pretzels were stale only 1/2 covered in chocolate which fell off to the ground as you ate. Chocolate bar was not as good aseating Nestles chocolate semisweet pieces from the bag. Asked for receipt but she had no way to print receipt and said it wouldbe emailed but it was never received. I ate the substandard chocolate because I paid so much for it but it was not satisfactory. It is not pleasant to leave a poor review but others need to know and store practices need to change. Read more
Overpriced everything. I got a chocolate dipped Oreo (Yes, the actual brand Oreo, they didn't make it themselves) for $3.... Overall I got 6 cookies for $24. They don't have much of a selection at all and the chocolate isn't fresh. Read more
We were on a family trip here. The folks at the counter were very nice but their chocolate dipped coconut bars are overpriced. ... We bought 6 bars and were charged $47. The bars tasted like average bars and the packaging was very average as well. Read more
I bought 2 chocolate covered pretzels and 1 chocolate covered pineapple slice for $17!!!! Believe me they were not even... average. The pretzel half not covered in chocolate was stale and the chocolate was average. What a ripoff and if I wasn?t inshock at the counter, would have not went ahead with the purchase. Stay away! Ordered a mocha and cappuccino and it was the worst beverages we?ve ever had. It tasted watered down and zero coffee flavor. The... place and espresso machine are really dirty and the price was super expensive for what you get ($7 each).
